The hotel has an excellent location, with a stunning view and a perfect rooftop to enjoy drinks or breakfast. My husband and I stayed in the Superior Premium room. From what I gathered, they only have twin beds rather than double beds, meaning the beds are pushed together, which is a downside. I dislike the gap left between the beds, as it makes sleeping uncomfortable. Additionally, we noticed a strange plumbing noise in our room, likely from the room above. The noise was quite loud when someone took a shower or flushed the toilet, and it even woke up my husband a few times, though we eventually got used to it.

The bathroom is stylish, comfortable, and accessible, with an amazing shower. Housekeeping does a great job, keeping everything clean and replenishing the bathroom amenities (which are from Rituals – a brand I love!). The gym is small but has all the essentials, with modern and well-functioning equipment.

The front desk staff is very attentive and helpful, always willing to assist with anything you need, and the restaurant staff is just as friendly. Breakfast is delicious, offering a variety of foods to suit different tastes. However, they don’t label items with gluten or dairy, which made it challenging for me to identify safe options due to my intolerance.

The prices in the hotel are ok (very similar to Ireland).

Overall, the hotel is cozy, clean, and calm – a lovely place to stay!

We spent 4 nights in a suite room, the best thing about it was a lovely waitress called Patricia who gave us the best recommendations to explore the region and always welcomed us with a smile. She really made our stay worth it. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. There was a weird smell in the hallway, and the elevators were very frustrating and slow. we ended up taking the stairs every time. Yes, we had ants too, but nothing that made us worry. The pool was surprisingly good and nice for sunset. Be aware that to use the saunas, you need to go first to the reception to have them be turned on. The biggest disappointment was that we never got our coffee pods refilled during our 4-day stay. Great location and surprisingly quiet.

I am currently here in Hotel Faro and the location is fantastic everthing one could need. All staff are very professional and a Credit to the hotel.  They are there to help and seem genuine and good hearted.

My waiter whom attended to me several times Gabriel Andre is a very pleasant professional individual, as are all the staff whom I met on my stay here. I would recommend a stay here you will be in good hands.

The food is varied and there is something for every taste, I would recommend the goats cheese with honey, it's presentation was fantastic as was the flavour......

Next time I come to Faro I will stay at Hotel Faro and Beach Club Resort.......

Fantastic location for restaurants and bars, beautiful view from the rooftop and an excellent breakfast. The free shuttle to a beach club was really useful. My room was really quiet despite a music event happening outside. Only negatives were the small pool in the shade which can’t really be enjoyed & the charges for tea bags etc in the hotel room - I’ve never seen any hotel charge guests for teabags before  (€3 per one!) and would rather just not have them in the room

Had a room on the quiet side of the hotel off the road, but were right on some building work which was noisy.  Had to wait a day, but got a better room, and with a balcony.Bed big. Only 5 coat hangars, limited storage, probably equipped for a city break. No views  or shade but good to sit out. Lovely breakfast, fresh fruit  good. Cooked items if you want it. Staff lovely and work so hard. Not sure if the beach club is part of it as the transport wasn't available. We got a ferry to faro Praia,  cheap and a nice trip. The view from the rooftop bar/ restaurant is lovely - great place to sit .but the management have chosen to have a very limited menu for 39 euros  for 3 courses, and you have to pay that for 1 or 3. Was better last year, and popular.
