Unique and innovative menu that is absolutely delicious with the duck parfait, steak tartare, and white crab being standouts. The service was friendly and attentive and I always love getting to have my own jug of water. The wine selection was simple but well ranged and the pacing of the dishes was spot on.

Had a lovely lunch here (Aug '24) with classic food cooked well. Great service in a beautiful room. The only thing you might want to be aware of is the wine list is expensive - at the very bottom end £32ish for a 50cl carafe of the cheapest wine is really quite punchy, even for London. As a cheese-lover, I had to try the Rollright ice cream. It was very pungent and savory. Highly recommended, would come again for a special treat.

Cool new brasserie in the foodie hotspot of Borough. They have an eclectic French inspired menu (but without too many of the old timey French classics), with a fair percentage of offal dishes. I can recommend the steak tartare and pate en croute. The lamb tongue, which was served with figs and chicory had an interesting taste, but not something I would suggest unless you already like tongue. Rollright ice cream was recommended to me for dessert, and that was amazing! My main gripe is that the list of wines by the glass/carafe was rather short. I would really like to see more options. If you are eating solo, they have a nice window facing counter from where you can people watch while eating.

The Auvergne 6-course feasting menu was a delight, including foraged mushrooms 🍄, stuffed pig trotter🐷 and sirloin steak🥩 with blue cheese🧀.
Of course there was more cheese involved and the blueberry tart🫐 absolutely blew our minds 🤯

There was an optional wine pairing🍷 with wines from the Auvergne region. If this sounds great make sure to check the other two Summer Specials events happening in September.

Had a nice dinner here, cozy place, good vibes and delicious food. The paté en croute, lamb brain, dorset crab, red mullet and riz au lait tart were standouts for us. Oh, and definitely get the baguette and butter too!
