Magical place. The food was also delicious. You should definitely try the boeuf bourguignon! 🍲

Communal bathrooms didn't have toilet paper, despite having 50+ people booked for the night (wedding). The staff only bathroom did, but the locking mechanism is fake. On the inside, you can flip it to red and hear a mechanical sound, but the door still opens effortlessly on the outside with no colored indication for occupied. If you inspect the middle of the door it's evident that the only mechanism is operated by turning the handle. Locking does nothing.

We had prepaid bar coupons for drinks, but the first bartender had a horrible attitude towards guest and didn't count anything as "drink". No rum and coke. I finally got a coke but then for the person after me they had changed their mind and forced them to pay for it. Later on they had more experienced bartenders and service was good, but having the first wave done completely illogically and rude really soured the experience.

It feels like the whole place is pretending to be a hostel and restaurant but doesn't actually expect or want guests. Complete blunders on basic human necessities and the fake lock seems criminal.

A great place to go just outside the city. Sitting on the terrace while looking at the sea. I think it's a relaxing and calm place and the Swedish seafood stew was delicious. I have not stayed at the hostel but I would recommend to give it a visit when you are in the area.

When it's open the restaurant is great value and excellent quality too. Visited on a warm sunny day when the views across the lake were breathtaking. The sailing school appears very popular and probably worth checking out.

Beautiful site and spectacular interior rooms of the restaurant with many maritime details. Friendly staff and superb food.
