Delicious pizza- very welcoming ambience. Although busy, we were attended to and seated at a table immediately by a friendly waitress. The wine I ordered was out of stock so I was offered an alternative and given a taste to check it was ok. I ordered the capricciosa pizza and my partner had schnitzel.
The pizza had a thin soft base and was topped with delicious mushroom, artichoke and a generous topping of delicious ham slices, then drizzled with pesto oil- divine!

I think it has many things to be a great pizzeria in Stockholm. Nice location, pretty nice design. However, the quality/price is very low.

The taste of my Napolitana was very disappointing. Even though it was very good in some parts, it was dry and boring in most of the pizza. It did not have sauce as all other Napolitanas I have tried.

We tested a Margarita as well and it had sauce. A bit better than Napolitana

This restaurant has everything to reach a 5 star experience, the atmosphere is great, the style is impeccable and the food is really good. Nevertheless, I have never felt as stressed during a meal as I did in this place. Every 5 minutes they tried to rush us to make new orders and we didn’t even get to finish our drinks before being asked to leave the table. If I knew we were on a schedule I would have chosen a fast food place instead.

Such a lovely place! It colored my gray rainy day with it’s marvelous coffee smell and I just couldn’t miss it! I got a perfect latte and smooth creamy eclair.
The atmosphere is really cozy, relaxing, and I may guess some other times it is much more busy, but I chose a rainy day to visit it and it was last 15 min before closing, so the atmosphere was nearly romantic. 😆
The service was so nice, friendly and calm even if I was this “best of a client who comes the last minute”. 😁

Note: pretty spacious, would work for group meetings with friends.

The best cafe at the neighbourhood, come here often and tried so many different desserts. I still dream about their chocolate cake, please bring it back to the menu. I recommend the waffles, so delicious. Portions are so big, 2 can even share. Amazing service and friendly staff.

This is a very cosy cafe with a wide range of dishes, cakes and drinks. We got a tuna sandwich and two Club sandwiches withe a latte, a blueberry youghurt-ish smoothie and a Snapple Mango (specified with 0.5% mango ??!!)
The tuna sandwich looked nice and was very well made. The tuna salad was perfectly seasoned.
The Club sandwiches had butter fried white bread some nicely cooked chicken but I could identify the specified chili Mayo or the pesto. The bread was crunchy but still soaked in butter (with oil??) and the sandwich really missed some acidic feel.. The total experience was a very uniform taste with a too mushy substance that I could not identify. The salad was pretty basic with some leaves, cucumber and a few slices of tomato.
It was served with chips from a plastic bag which I did not touch. I would expect home made potato chips / boats instead.
In total we are not hungry anymore and my companion with the tuna sandwich was very happy.
The club sandwich.....???? There are definately room for improvements...

Wife and I had a great evening in here. Dog friendly in the bar area too! They brought water over immediately for our little pup.

Amazing top quality cocktails with ingredients I’d never even heard of which I always enjoy. We also had a flight of 4 whiskies for £20 which we thought was good value and we enjoyed sampling them.

A real hidden gem, and our evening meal here was wonderful! The exposed brickwork gives a really interesting and unique vibe to the decor, with the pleasant atmosphere keeping it cosy. If you like whisky them you’ll appreciate the bar on the ground floor, which has hundreds of options, all detailed in their huge menu book.

Our table was on the top floor which felt like dining in the roof, which was great! The staff throughout the meal were all fantastic, being knowledgeable with the menu and friendly. The menu has a nice range of dishes without being excessively large, with a good focus on local ingredients.

The starter of black haggis was exceptional; it’s a shame I couldn’t have it again as a main dish! Instead I opted for the venison. The meat was cooked perfectly but I have to say some of the accompanying items didn’t quite match, such as the leeks being a bit chewy. The recommended coffee cake desert was harder than I imagined it would be, but it rounded things off nicely.

Overall it was a high end meal in a great setting, complete with brilliant service. I’d highly recommend to anyone wanting a memorable evening meal.

Omg after reading the reviews I thought we have to try this place...disappointed NOT A CHANCE.  It lived up to the reviews and definitely recommend the black pudding starter and the pork as a main. Food rating = Drinks, as we popped in for a Flight of Scotch and a pint. Great atmosphere, and the workout climbing stairs makes it even better. Scottish Road Trip Flight was amazing. Bar tenders gave sound advice on order of which to drink. Price was spot on. Pop in if you're in the area. Food is amazing as well from what I hear.

Absolutely lovely. Had dinner to celebrate the birthday of my mother and everything was wonderful. The food and wine were outstanding and the service maybe even better. Water was filled free of charge continuously and on top of that they surprised us with a birthday dessert for my mother (I had written that months ago on the reservation form). If you're spending a weekend in Edinburgh make sure to go here.

Regarded as one of the finest cocktail bars in Edinburgh and the UK, this spot truly lives up to its reputation. We sat at the bar and sampled a range of cocktails. As a self-proclaimed French Martini connoisseur (after trying many world wide! ), I can confidently say this was one of the best! The balance was spot on, with perfect proportions.

The staff were delightful, offered us a range of selection to meet our drinking needs, which we loved. One standout was the Champagne French Spring Punch (pictured)—absolutely superb.

The atmosphere is moody and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxed chat over exquisite drinks. While it’s a bit pricey, it’s worth every penny for the quality and experience. Highly recommended!

I have recommended The Bon Vivant to friends, family, and colleagues for years and was so pleased to visit again. The food was luscious, the cocktails divine. My visit to Bin Vivant Edinburgh tonight was an absolute delight. The atmosphere and setting were truly captivating, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

One of the highlights was the locally sourced produce, which infused every dish with exceptional flavor and freshness. I started with the mushroom truffle, soup, and pigeon, each dish impressing with its unique taste and presentation. For mains, I indulged in the cod and lamb shoulder, both of which were cooked to perfection and bursting with delicious flavors. The chocolate dessert with cherries was the perfect finale to a fantastic meal, leaving me completely satisfied.

A special mention goes to Emily, who provided impeccable service throughout the evening. I would like to extend my gratitude to Calum and the entire team for their hospitality and ensuring a lovely and relaxed dining experience. Visited for the Festive Lunch and had a lovely time. The festive lunch menu is really great value and the dishes were all delicious. I had some food envy with my friends dishes too! I had the ham hock terrine, ox cheek risotto and tiramisu mille-feuille. The venue is cosy with mood-lit candles. The staff were all really attentive and friendly. A must visit ☺️

We had a lovely afternoon tea here at The Dome today. Booked at short notice yesterday. The atmosphere was lovely and the building itself is beautiful. The food was beautifully presented and tasted lovely, we both had the vegetarian option. It was a birthday surprise for a friend and I’d put this on the reservation form so when the food came out there was a “happy birthday” chocolate and a candle on one of the cakes. Staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. We both agree that we would definitely recommend The Dome and will most certainly go back again.

This place is magnificent! We booked a reservation well in advanced and were sat upon arrival. The hostess was adorable and inviting. Upon sitting, we were greeted by a very kind server, Cullin. He explained the Tea experience and made excellent recommendations. I’m a big fan of his favorite, Rooibos. Orange and cranberry Scones with clotted cream and jam were delectable. The bacon sandwich and sausage roll were a savory delight. Everything was delicious. I topped my experience with a glass of bubbly! The entire building was glimmering with holiday cheer. The best holiday experience. Be sure to book ahead. You won’t be disappointed.

First time visiting the Dome and wanted to see what the inside was like at Christmas. First impressions are that it is beautiful, especially at Christmas. The lobby smells of cinnamon and the security guards and front of house are great. Our server was Juliette, she was exceptional very professional, paid attention to detail and all round a good server. Some of the others weren't as good, for instance, the small attention to detail, like ensuring plates with the logo were presented the correct way up. The food was good but again nothing spectacular. The hummus starter was a little too acidic and could have done with being a smaller portion. The cheese board needed some more care and attention as some were dried out, this was rectified very quickly but as its also an additional supplement it shouldn't happen. The portion sizes were very large, the cheese pieces could have been half the size but more looked after and it would have been worth the money. Overall, I'm glad I've been, but I'm not sure I'd rush back. It feels a little like a really nice upmarket establishment that has lost a little care due to popularity, which is a shame.

I made our Christmas reservation in August and it was definitely worth it. I am not sure if we will go again as it is obviously an expensive restaurant but visiting once is a must! It is beautiful ! Food was delicious too. Wasn’t expecting anything less. For 2 people we paid around £165 . This included a 3 set menu and 2 cocktails + 10% service charge required by the restaurant.
