We loved this bar. The vibe was intimate and dark academia meets royal europe. They had live music, a pianist who also sang, and he was great! I got a champagne with gold flakes in it.

We visited for a drink the bar which is located on the ground floor of the hotel and has tables outside with a view of the Promenade des Anglais, but also inside.
The interior room is impressively decorated with a fireplace and many huge paintings. The tables are well spaced and there is privacy.
Drinks were expensive but it was expected for such a luxurious bar.
The staff was very polite, but we didn't like that we had to wait about twenty minutes to be seated, while there were quite a few empty tables.

The magnificence of this place is overwhelming. Staff was very accommodating and professional. We experienced what a truly high standard of service means and the quality of the drinks were also excellent. This is one of the most exquisite places on the French Riviera, which contributed to our wonderful stay.

The most unbelievable person what I meet in my life !
You should know that being a regular customer of a bar is not enough to use a negresco toilet….
Today was a cloudy Sunday and we decided to sit at the bar. There was a waiting line so we decided to use the toilet to save time. But we were stopped by a rude guard who said, "no, I saw you, you didn't enter the bar, you're not from here." My attempts to explain to him that there was a line and we would quickly return only led to him saying, "you're not a customer here, you don't live, you don't know anything You are not of this country. You came here, I live here and I know everything." When I heard all this, I took out my phone and turned on the camera, he told me I would smash your phone. I remind you that everything happens in a 5-star hotel, where I was not the first time, and he does not recognize me that I am a client. And I live in the same building as this hotel, the Negresco residence. And I met such rudeness and inadequacy for the first time in several years. So much for democracy and equality. One guard, who does not even have a name badge, decided that he was the king and decides who can live in France and even more so wash their hands in the toilet. Oh, yes, he also came up with the idea that the director was calling him and that he forbade us to come. Such an interesting player. Because on photo his manager was so polite to us

When I looked at photos of Les Bars and decided to visit I assumed the decor was a pastiche, an homage to a faded glory and frankly a little quirky - French eccentricity perhaps. Alas it’s not, it’s deadly serious. It’s a classy affair with a price tag to boot (€12 for 330ml of beer). If this sounds negative it’s not meant to. I liked it. Super friendly staff, the aforementioned decor (with a slick outdoor space) and a good drinks selection make this a great pit stop. Check out the hotel itself, very glamorous.
