This was the best dinner my husband and I enjoyed on our trip to Copenhagen. Everything was done with care and it was all perfect. We loved the variety of all the dishes, each one was a new journey and we appreciated each detail of every plate. The cod was truly the best. The atmosphere is clean and cozy, while being bright and airy. Our server was so wonderful, she helped me step out of my comfort zone and try a new wine—and now I will look for this wine again thanks to her :) When we return to the city you can bet we will make a reservation here again! Thanks so much for a thoughtful experience.

I love this restaurant and visit just about every time I’m in CPH (which is once or twice per year for work). The space is so lovely. Warm and inviting. The staff and service is wonderful, kind and welcoming.

On my recent visit, the cod (main dish) was the best fish I’ve ever eaten. In my whole life. Fish is generally not my favorite food, so I considered substituting the beef, but I’ve loved every dish I’ve ever had at Vaekst, so I decided to take a chance and experience the tasting menu exactly as they designed it. Boy, am I glad I did! That cod was just amazing! Thank you!

First night in Copenhagen and we had the best meal that set the expectation high. I was fortunate to get a seating to get a table. Their food was so refreshing and exceptional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Love every single dish we had, especially the warm and crusty bread.

Highly recommended. This was the highlight of all the foods I ate in Copenhagen. It was different and everything was executed perfectly. We went for the 3 course tasting menu along with the juice pairing - I’ve never had juice pairing and it really complicated each meal nicely.

Highly recommend booking, whilst we were dining over lunch (on a weekday) we saw several people turned away for not having a reservation.

A cozy restaurant in a nice location. The food was great but the service was far off as I was rushed to go through all the courses and out of the restaurant. Though I asked to sit a bit to finish my drinks after the last course, the waitress came back within less than 5 minutes with the payment terminal presented in front of me.  The restaurant was not full as I was the only table in the restaurant and there was no one else waiting for a table. It was also not even close to their closing time. I didn't expect such poor treatment in such a highly recommended restaurant.
