Great food and atmosphere. Good pricing for the quality of the food and atmosphere (also given that they have a Michelin star).
Two areas of improvements
1. Service can be better. My drink pairing for my main dish came after I nearly finished my course and only after I asked for it.
2. The non alcoholic drink pairing can be significantly improved. The first two drinks were basically fruit juice. No one wants a juice with their fine dining experience. Recommend not ordering the non-alcoholic pairing until this has been changed completely.

the pleasure of visiting IGNIV Bangkok around two years ago, and scrolling through my photo gallery recently, I stumbled upon the beautiful pictures I took during that meal. The memories came flooding back, and I knew I had to share how truly exceptional my experience was at this gem of a restaurant.

The ambiance of IGNIV Bangkok is both elegant and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that feels relaxed yet refined. From the moment we entered, we were treated to impeccable service. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain each dish in detail, adding a touch of warmth to the whole experience.

What makes IGNIV stand out is not only the quality of the dishes but the artistry and creativity behind each one. Each course felt like a piece of art, thoughtfully plated to emphasize the freshness and vibrancy of the ingredients. The attention to detail was astounding, and every dish offered layers of flavor that showcased authentic, nuanced culinary skill. The sharing concept also brought a sense of intimacy and fun to the meal, allowing us to experience a wide variety of flavors in one sitting.

IGNIV Bangkok is one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left, leaving you with unforgettable flavors and a desire to experience it all over again. What sets IGNIV apart from other modern European restaurants is their concept. They’re all about sharing plates, all of which are executed with acute precision, Swiss style. The food is delicious, but it was the presentation that really wowed me away. The interior is modern, light and airy. Service is well-thought-out. Of course, we had to make a stop at their signature candy store for a box of treat. I’m not a dessert person but couldn’t help being swooned by their iconic candy trolley bathed in funky red light.

Great food, superb services, really love the vibe and hospitality. Chef is so kind to explain the food himself and offer the takeaway snack at the end of course. Reasonable price for 1-Michelin star restaurant.

IGNIV’s unique sharing concept sets them apart from their competitors in the Modern European space.

When you first enter the restaurant, the decor is bold and eclectic but as you walk further inside, you’ll find that the interior design is rather safe but elegant.

Starting from the snacks, every bite was a surprise! The very definition of being creative and nailing it. I wasn’t too sure what to expect when I read the menu however they managed to hit the ball out of the park with every dish. Their non alcoholic pairings were also great, with the exception of one.

Service was flawless, and with Head Chef Arne Riehn at the helm, IGNIV is well on their way to achieving two stars in no time.
