We had high expectations of this restaurant because it was such a highly ranked restaurant in Asia. There were some dishes that were amazing, and some that I didn't like. I believe the concept of the food was to take Thai cuisine to the next level. The plating of the dishes was beautiful. The dessert was one of the best I've ever had. The service was fantastic, you can tell they have a lot of passion in what they do. If you have the means, I think it's a great experience to try, but due to the high price, I do think it's a one time visit for me.

We had really high expectations of this restaurant given its accolades and by and large, they were fulfilled. The food was flavorful, inventive and beautifully presented. The service was attentive. We had the 4 course tasting menu along with the river prawns, which were huge and super fresh. We liked the appetizers and the desserts were fantastic. Most of the dishes were great but at least 1 tasted a little too adventurous for our liking. The seating was a little close to other patrons.

Great restaurant that has a weak link of service. This us absolutely a five star meal if service was corrected.

The food is excellent. You won't have a bad dish, especially if you choose a duck as the main course. Funny enough, many things here seem very simple to produce which is the genius of the dishes. All the flavors work very well together even in unexpected compositions. The plating is very attractive and inviting.

Service is the shortfall. We were the only table that didn't receive a basket for our bags even though we were offered one. The table next to us had to remind staff that they ordered cokes which never arrived. On multiple occasions wait staff took back utensils from our table and apologized for bringing us the wrong utensils. It all sort of felt uncoordinated.

As of December 2024, the total for a six course meal and water (no other drinks) was 13,159 Bhat. Credit card is accepted and they do charge for water. A full vegetarian menu is offered.

Food was very good though as a tourist, the wine pairings did not feel like good value - this is not restaurant specific but reflects the taxes on imported wines. No cocktails were available. Service was amicable and knowledgeable.  They were able to accommodate pescatarian options on short notice.  The vibe was relaxed and fairly casual, with a young crowd in the main

This special restaurant unfortunately falls to four stars just due to the unfathomable expectations that come up with achievements such as Best Restaurant in Asia 2023. As a subjective matter the fact that the menu skews heavily toward flavors of the sea likely further pushes my palette out of contention for fully appreciating the grandeur. Nonetheless the notion of this being the best restaurant in Bangkok let alone Asia stretches the imagination. The signature River Prawn does thoroughly impress and all the dishes bursted with creativity in flavor and visual presentation.
