I’ve visited all three branches of this amazing omakase restaurant, and each visit has been a fantastic experience! The tempura is consistently perfect—crispy, light, and bursting with flavor. The service is always exceptional, and the ambiance at each location is cozy and inviting. It’s clear that each branch maintains the same high standards. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for incredible tempura and a memorable dining experience!

Our dinner at Numata Sou was absolutely phenomenal! To start, the restaurant is convenient and easy to get to with the help of a navigation application or service. When you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted by the friendly waiters/waitresses as well as the tempura chef’s. The restaurant is modern and clean, making it a comfortable dining experience. As for the staff, all members of the staff team are very friendly, and all the chefs are able to translate dish names into your preferred language and explain each dish or tempura piece served thoroughly. They are also very friendly and happy to assist you throughout the meal should you require that. Lastly for the food, every piece of tempura and every dish is crafted to perfection. The amount of batter for each tempura piece is a perfect balance creating for a crispy yet not overly oily bite when having each piece of tempura. The other dishes are also great and created with seasonal ingredients. Overall, I highly recommend giving Numata Sou a try if you’re looking for delicious tempura in Osaka!

Delicious! Pacing (dinner was about 2h) and food quantity was just right. Could’nt get into Numata so this was the next best thing.

Best tempura I have had in Japan in years .. delicate , diverse and a good mix of seafood and vegetables.
