Unquestionably, one of the best meals I've ever had. And to say the star of the show was a bowl of tomato soup, sounds ridiculous, but it is transcendent! I will forever dream about this bowl of soup and hope to one day be able to return for one more spoonful. It was unlike any bowl of tomato soup I've ever had. It was light and refreshing, and filled my body and soul with utter joy!
I do love a grilled salad, and the grilled iceberg lettuce with baked cod did not disappoint. The two elements with what initially appeared to be potato wedges, turned out to be light and flaky pastry. I may have licked my plate!
The struva with duck liver was crispy and savory, creamy and delectable. We had to stop ourselves from having just one, they are that good.
The friendly staff, the warm environment, and the unique and tasty cocktails made for a perfect final meal in Stockholm. And it's one of the reasons I'll be returning just as soon as I can. If there had been a cookbook in English with that soup recipe inside, I would have certainly brought that home with me to try my best at recreating those flavors. Thank you Restaurant Hantverket, you will live in my DNA forever.

I highly recommend the Struva with duck liver, especially delightful when generously topped with Parmesan cheese! The thinly sliced raw beef with Jerusalem artichoke is also quite tasty and pairs well with the ground hazelnut. However, I would not recommend the ravioli as it doesn't match the authentic Italian style; the filling is bland, and the wrap is not al dente at all, and easily breaks apart. The pork belly is average—good, but nothing surprising.

We had a great dinner here. Service was amazing - really warm, attentive and personable. Soda pop cocktail also really nice (my husband says it's the best cocktail he's ever had). Food is artfully done and quite creative - standouts would be the green tomato soup (creamy while still light and full of flavour) and the thinly sliced beef with artichokes (so umami).

This was such an unforgettable culinary experience, a perfect combination of flavours, mixing of ingredients , coupled with exquisite presentation. We were a group of three who ordered various dishes, all shared which maximised our ability to try as many dishes as possible. Every dish WOW’ed us.
To top it off; attentive service and great ambiance. Great value for money too - the food is exquisite.

Hyped by the recommendations online and the great rating on Google I was really excited to try out this seemingly high class restaurant.
And yes, on the surface everything appeard to be perfect. The location is designed very stylishly and classy, the staff is well trained and accommodating, the cocktails are delicious (!) and the presentation of the food is very inviting.

But were it failed for me was the actual food itself, the flavours, the most important part about a restaurant.

As recommended I ordered 1 dish from each of the 4 groups (snack, starter, main, dessert).

As a snack I went for the signature hasselback potatoes. As mentioned the presentation was delightful and I had high hopes for these ones so you can imagine my disappointment when I bit into the first one and tasted... barely anything. The potatoes were cold (I guess that's a choice) hard and chewy and the only flavour came from the sour cream.
I thought maybe the chef just had a bad day but the few low-rating-reviews on here agree with me so I am not the only one.

Next the lemon cured mackerel.
I could kind of taste the idea behind the dish but even for me as a salt lover this dish was almost inedible because it was so salty. I know a lot of people who couldn't have finished it.

As my main I chose the pork chop which tasted alright but not special and the mix of different ingredients didn't work together very well for me.

The dessert was good but you can't really mess up ice cream and berries.

I really don't know if I caught a bad day, if my taste works differently from most reviewers or if everyone simply thinks they have to give 5 stars because it's a posh restaurant with fancy looking and sounding food.

Very disappointing and not worth the money (except for the cocktails!).

Went to this much famed chicken shop in Copenhagen. The food itself is pretty good. The chicken was spicy, not too dry and pretty flavourful. With that said it is not too dissimilar to other premium chicken sandwich shops you’ll see in other cities. The sandwich itself is very filling and tasty. Expect to pay a bit though and to wait 30-40 min for your food over a busy lunch time.

Incredible fried chicken-sandwich. Best in Copenhagen. The crust of the chicken is so crispy and delicious it’s unbelievable. And the pickles… I don’t know what they do to them, but they taste so good and sweet!

I would like to start by saying this is a solid chicken sandwich. If there wasn’t this much hype around it I would be quite satisfied with my experience. Service is great, definitely very fast and you can tell the workers are working their backs off trying to get to everyone which is something to appreciate. The space was a bit uncomfortable in general. I don’t blame them for it as it definitely goes with their concept, however it would be so much better to have a bit more seating available so that people don’t have to awkwardly squeeze next to each other. Since this is the case though, I recommend you to take your meal and move somewhere more quiet and comfortable because this sandwich will get quite messy. Do make sure to have napkins because the burger is very saucy and the chicken is quite juicy. So on to the actual burger. Lots of pickles, perfect amount of sauce, very well distributed. I loved the spice level but my main complaint is that the spice really overpowers all the other flavors going on (if there are any, sorry). I would have really liked to have a bit more complexity in such perfectly cooked chicken. It is definitely not bland, but it could come off as that if the spice wasn’t there to “make up for it”. Another thing was that my sandwich was very weirdly salted. Could just be a one time thing but I couldn’t taste salt for the most part and got an overwhelmingly salty bite all of a sudden. I think if the seasoning was executed a bit better this could be one of my favorite chicken sandwiches. I loved the bun, I loved their pairings, and I loved how the chicken was cooked. With this much hype around it, I would have preferred it to have a more complex flavor. Burger itself is about 95 dkk around the time I write this review, which seems to be reasonable for Copenhagen food spots.

It’s scarce with the seating, I wish they at least had a couple tables outside considering the place is very popular. The burger isn’t as spicy as I thought, I’d say it’s around 6.5/10 you mostly feel smoked paprika and cayenne. But the meat was super juicy and overall worth coming back for just the burger

Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches. Came after 16.00. The chicken was very crispy and fried with a spicy flavor. It was the better version of KFC even though there was bit too much mayo to my daughter’s taste. The service was good even though being needed to wait a little while before getting the chicken sandwiches. There is no seating inside but only one bench and few chairs. So don’t expect kind of restaurant seating.

Update: after a visit last Friday we dropped by again the following Saturday.
We thought we had a reservation, but we had made a mistake…. But… despite a very long line of guests waiting to get in, they managed to get us a table - very nice!
Again the food was fabulous.

The place was busy but not overcrowded.
The staff were great - polite and attentive. And seems like wanting to make sure you have a good time. I also appreciate that the main course is not rushed in after you complete the starter - nice with a short break in between.
The food selection is really adequate with some real nice choices. Difficult to choose between them when you want it all.
And the drinks selection is also very fine.
The pricing is really awesome making the experience a top one. Nice to find a place that serves gourmet food at an affordable price. And nice service on top of that. Well done!

Great place.  The food was delicious.  The price is very good compared to other restaurants in Denmark and adequate for the quality of the food.

The place is very nice but the tables are too close to each other.  In order for our table neighbors to sit down we had to move the table and then readjust it.  It's uncomfortable because you have to sit down and finish your meal without getting up until the end so as not to disturb anyone.

Despite that, the service is very good, the waiters are very nice and kind.  You have reserved the table for 1 hour and 45 minutes and right after that time they take your bill to the table,  whether you have finished eating or not. We had to wait like 3 months to be able to book a table, is always completely booked.

This is a cheap and cheerful place. The bill for a three course meal for two with drinks came to 540kr. The food is nice, some dishes better than others but the time between the starter and the main was a bit long, especially for a small menu.
I strongly recommend booking a table here, especially on weekend nights as it gets very busy.
Try the French onion soup and the peach Melba if you can

Great food at ultra low places so plenty of good choices.

The appetizers are amazing and the main courses quite big so two appetizers, two main courses, bread basket, two Aperols, and two large cokes for 519 kr.

There are seating available outside both in front and in the back, so great for sunny days.

Overall a great experience. Coming back soon for other dishes. 🥳

Very cool vibe in the shop. Great decor. Food was yummy but small portions and expensive. The focaccia was the best so delicious. Vegetable tart was good but very small portion for the cost. Loved all the deli offerings, got a great olive oil.

We ordered wine and small food. They have good selection of natural wine with good food. Staff was nice and helpful to select wine.

The starters were decent. We asked whether it's possible to have 2 vegan and one non-vegan version which we were told is no problem. Received only vegan starters. Was not a problem, just a little unfortunate.

The pizza is very good Roman style pizza. I had the one with spicy salami which I can recommend. Tiramisu was absolutely fantastic.

The location is very cozy and fits perfectly for a cute pizza place.

Service was extremely slow and we waited quite long until we could order as well as between servings.

This place is a gem! Had high hopes after reading reviews, but expectations were exceeded. After years of traveling the world eating pizza (and other things), I finally found my favorite pizza place.
We arrived early and there were no guests there. I was a bit skeptical and thought that this is not popular. After 20 minutes the place was full and people were waiting for tables!
The pizza: We ordered two different ones. My better half took the Carbonara, I the Guanciale. Wine was suggested by the owner and matched perfectly! It took about 17 minutes until we got the food and before that we got a little teaser which was super good.
The taste of the dough was fantastic. The bottom very thin and crispy. The topping on the one I ordered was a thousand flavors from salty to sweet, from deep to light, yes, everything your palate can desire. My wife's Carbonara pizza was cheesy, elegant in its flavors and really savory.

We finished with dessert which was also delicious.

The owner came and asked which pizza was the best... my wife said hers was the best, I said mine was the best :-D So both were top!

The place is close to Istegade and the area is a bit .... but I think that makes it even better.

Fantastic pizza in a really cozy and well decorated spot. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere in the place is great.
Pizzas are also super nice, there’s some pretty weird and wonderful flavours on the menu, but they’ll also make others. It does get very busy so recommend booking. Desserts are also FANTASTIC, I had a great tiramisu

Will definitely be coming back!

Wow, wow, wow. We were looking for pizza in Copenhagen, and this did NOT disappoint. The location is quaint and special— sit outside if the weather allows! We received exceptional service from the whole staff, but particularly Lara who brought us several wines to try as we chose a bottle. Loved the one we ended up with! The antipasto for 2 was to die for!!!! I didn’t think I liked fennel, but the combination of it with burrata and lemon was truly *chef’s kiss*. The pizza was also phenomenal. Yum. My husband is telling me it’s in his lifetime top 5 (and we love pizza). We initially giggled at the 23rd best pizza in Europe ranking but now take it very seriously. WOW. Seriously.
