Stopped for Lunch, my seafood chowder was very nice, full of white flesh fish chunks, muscles and some baby octopus (not my favourite) delicious base.
The others enjoyed their lunch, Blue cod was fresh and flakey, the venison didn't quite hit the mark but the chicken burger went down well with the other guest. The service was very good and prompt however i have to say I detest being called LOVE and Darling......
Average selection of food available for lunch. Restaurant on one side, bar on the other. Very large deck area for eating or drinking, gorgeous in the sun looking across to the water.

We had the mushroom soup, it was very tasty but too salty for me. They recommended the burger of the day and it was delicious.
The blue cod was fresh and very well cooked, it was lacking salt (or maybe my taste was still compromised from the mushroom soup). The fries were good but something was missing.
You can tell the ingredients are fresh.
The service was good on the beggining but we had a hard time trying to get their attention to get our bill to leave.

Friendly staff. Great chips 🍟 and an epic view. The food is great the venue is amazing. On a fine day eating alfresco is recommended. One of Southland’s best restaurants.

Another lovely meal at the Aparima Restaurant and Bar. My Salmon with the miso honey glaze was divine!!! Hubby's Ribeye Steak was great as well although, unfortunately the broccoli was overdone. Kids Thai salad and blue cod and chips was also good. Great service... an absolutely lovely evening 🥰

Brunchy and juicy battered butterfish. Chips were ok. Seafood chowder was good but could do with a bit more fish. Overall happy with the dining experience.
