Take out luxury, New Zealand, fall off the bone, local Lamb. We ordered around 2 pm for a scheduled pickup at 7 pm. Pedro had it ready for us. Beautifully packaged in their signature box with disposable silverware and napkins. We took it to the park and dined quietly with the birds as the waves lapped at the lake shore for ambiance.
We got the lamb shoulder with potatoes for two, 2 of the coleslaw and bread. The portion sizes were perfect. The colors were beautiful. The vegetables in the coleslaw were cut up and layered beautifully. I could go there just for that coleslaw alone. It was so good. I love the roasted red peppers on top and the sliced almonds. The lamb was out of this world. The potatoes were cut into rounds and cooked to the perfect texture. The sauce was so savory you just knew you were eating the best quality meat. We had a little leftover for a midnight snack.
This meal is exactly what the doctor ordered. After driving through New Zealand and seeing all the lambs and all the cows, it was awesome to enjoy lamb from Pedro‘s house of lamb! Go try this place out.

So damn good!! The lamb is super tender it comes off the bone so easily, it comes with potatoes and the grill sauce which is so fresh, made of herbs. I love the fact that minimal artificial flavouring was used so you could really taste how good the lamb was.

There are a few outdoor seats but they were all occupied so we hopped over to the field opposite the store to have a lovely picnic!

Highly highly recommend!! It was easily top 3 of our NZ meals in the past 2 weeks :)

Pedro’s House of Lamb serves the best lamb we've ever tasted. The meat was incredibly tender, falling off the bone, and the potatoes were soft, rich, and full of flavor. They specialize in one dish and do it exceptionally well. While there’s limited outdoor seating, most people opt for takeaway. The portion was generous, perfect for two people, and we happily finished it all.

It was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t leave the store without eating it. Ordered $70 lamb shoulder with potatoes plus $10 green beans initially. We have 4 of us, not too hungry however by the end of the meal, we didn’t want anything left so we added two breads ($3 each) to absorb the meat juice!!!
The staff was friendly too.
A very satisfying experience!
Will come back again!

Big portion of lamb shoulder enough for two people to share. I could feel that the chef used simple seasonings so we could taste the original flavor of the lamb. Potatoes absorbed the meat broth so taste very nice too.

Only thing that is not good is that they opened later than the time shown on Google map. We arrived at 12:00 to have lunch only to be told that they will be opening from 13:00. We had to drive back and arrange some other things.
