Attentive, friendly service, they dont have a set menu, they guided us on choosing our drinks, good experience, chill vibe, tasty cocktails, blackberry pina colada was different, if there was abit of garnish on the drinks it would be awesome :)

Deadshot at Ponsonby is the sister bar to Caretaker in Britomart. They both have the same atmosphere. Dim lights cozy booths & tables. Soulful music and delightful waitresses who ask all the right questions to find you something new to try and explore.
Great way to start or end the night.

Terrible service. Had to ask three times for the waitress to come over so we could order another round of drinks, she was very dismissive and it seemed like we were inconveniencing her, she still didn’t come over.

In the end we decided to leave and as we went to the bar to pay, this took over 5 minutes before someone came to take payment and all the while, the rude waitress was just having some good old chats with some customers (I’m all for friendliness and chats, but when you have multiple tables waiting to be served for next rounds, a bit of common sense should prevail, but unfortunately not in this case) they’re lucky we didn’t walk out, we should have.

Drinks were nice, only thing keeping this review from being a 1 star. Will never go back, used to love this place and frequent often.

Fantastic cocktails, guaranteed to give you something you have never heard of before. Booths are a tad small, 6ft+ people will likely leave feeling like they need a massage.
Brilliant concept of a bar to expand your horizons. Cool spot for dates or to feel sophisticated. Keep count of your drinks though, at $24 per drink the bill can add up quick.
