Thank you Nicolas and Antoine for giving a world class sight see and encounter with the Antarctic humpback whale. The tour also experienced eagle rays, turtles, black tip reef shark, white tip oceanic shark, and pilot whales.
They strive to achieve a private and personal encounter that is nothing short of outstanding.
They respect the nature of the oceanic world which will leave you in a deep appreciation.

Amazing, amazing experience. Hands down the highlight of our trip. The whole crew (Gen, Yohan and Mekan) were all incredible. They were kind and helpful and made sure to really get us the full experience. We saw literally everything we could have dreamed of seeing, which is in no way guaranteed, but we were so lucky and their expertise played a big role. The only downside is that we both got a bit seasick and sunburned (definitely not their fault) so be sure to pack some strong sunscreen and take something for motion sickness if that bothers you. We cannot say enough good things about this tour. A once in a lifetime opportunity and worth every penny. We will hold onto this forever.

Went with Nicolas and Ian in late August of 2024, it was incredible. Nicolas was professional and very experienced, which allowed us to see whales close-up in their habitat without being harmful.
The team was quite knowledgeable about whales; they were picking up dna samples of skin along the way, so the whales we observe get added to a database.

Very respectful attitude to the animals and clients both, would gladly go again.

Our whale swim with Tahiti Shark Expeditions was unforgettable!  I will treasure this magical moment forever.  I highly recommend Nicholas and his crew.  They not only were very knowledgeable but also shared light hearted humor.

Spent an amazing several days with Tahiti Shark Expeditions mainly snorkeling with humpback whales with a little bit of scuba diving sprinkled in. The crew were kind, accommodating, funny, and above all else worked so hard to make sure we found as much wildlife as possible while having a good time. We even had a photographer accommodate us one day to document our experiences (thank you Ben! I used some of your photos :)).

We saw several mother whales with young as well as some solo “singer” males. The diving with divemaster Ben was superb as well with healthy coral, several species of sharks, rays, turtles, and brilliant fish galore. Ben did a great job showing us all the animals and helping us approach them in a noninvasive way, allowing us to get close views.

Captain Nico is incredibly skilled and experienced in finding, observing, and studying marine fauna. Him and Anthony showcased their outstanding knowledge of marine biology and the life history of these spectacular and imperiled animals. Their passion for these creatures and their conservation is truly inspiring! We learned so much from them during our time both above and below water. It was an unforgettable experience that we hope to recreate with Tahiti Shark Expeditions in the the future. So much gratitude to all crew members. Until next time, Maururu!
