The Lodge was amazing. Great location, right on the slopes and plenty of activities available to book. Unfortunately all the activities we booked were cancelled due to the weather being too windy.
All staff were so friendly and helpful which made such a positive impact to us in our stay.
The room was spacious and beds and pillows were comfortable.
The shower was great, pressure and temperatures.

We would definitely stay again the next time we come to Stowe!

Last minute trip - booked the day of and super happy! Property is HUGE, it’s a Beautiful Hotel!! Everything was perfect, From the Valet, Checking in to the man who bought up our luggage. As soon as we walked in I was impressed. The lobby is so nice and cozy. Rooms were clean and spacious. Ate dinner at the Alpine Hall, food/ drinks were great-  hands down best espresso martini I’ve ever made by Brian! Will definitely be back!

The resort is clean and has all the amenities you need for a fun time skiing and relaxing. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Restaurants are good, plenty of food options and on-site support is pleasant and willing to help. So why 3-stars? The resort is open to the public so getting a table to eat is a 2-hour plus wait at restaurants, around the resort there are hardly any seats (inside or outside) to relax, especially by any fire pit. You will spend half your day trying to get a seat somewhere. At a hefty per night price tag, it would be nice to have resort guests prioritized for all the resort amenities, none of which are exclusive to paying guests. That was a huge disappointment. If you like to plan your day hour by hour, you can make reservations for inside dining, but if you can’t keep a reservation you are charged. We had to Uber eat our first day in and go offsite another time so the kids could eat, all on-site options were 2+ hours out. So, although a beautiful resort that I would pay to stay at again in normal circumstances,  I wouldn’t come back for the simple reason it was too frustrating to eat/drink with how crowded it was combining the public skiers and resort guests. It was packed. causing little and sometimes no availability for dining. There are way more affordable options to stay with access to the same amenities. I went in December, so I’m sure it’s a busy time, too.

We luckily found this hotel as part of Amex platinum fine hotels and resorts. The location was so perfect with all major attractions within proximity and amazing food choices in house and around. Our toddler loved the atmosphere and there’s so much space for her to run around and explore. There’s an enchanted children’s playground which is so cute. Very family friendly. If you are planning to go on the Stowe Gondola ride.. this hotel is for you. It is so convenient as it is a ski-in/ski-out resort. We had an amazing holiday.

Nice hotel, but be prepared to be nickel and dimes with added fees. There’s a fee to use the coffee in your room, a fee for the “complimentary” coffee in the lobby, a fee for the mandatory ski valet service, a fee to use the game room, fee to use the hotel fitness center, fee to use the fitness center Peleton’s, etc etc.

These are all things that are usually included in the nightly room rate at nice hotels.
