We had a wonderful stay. Very cozy, comfortable and well equipped. It's only about a mile from the main shopping and dining strip of Manchester, with tons of restaurants, shops and farmers markets to explore.
The innkeepers and staff were amazing, and were in constant communication with us to make sure we were comfortable.
(Very sweet gesture from the innkeeper Melissa to bring us cookies, ornaments, some essentials and toys for our dog on Christmas day, when the staff was on leave.)
We would always stay here when visiting the area.

The Battenkill Mansion was a perfect location for our thanksgiving family reunion. It comfortably accomodated 25 of us and it never felt crowded. We also had four dogs with us. The bedrooms were all very charming and well appointed. There was plenty of living area for us to enjoy games and movie time. The play zone was a hit with kids and adults.  The kitchen was very well equipped to handle the large amount of cooking with restaurant style burners. The location is really magical and we also loved the proximity to the town. Melissa was also very responsive and helpful both leading up to and during the trip. We had a great time as a family without having to worry about all that comes with hosting a large group. Highly recommend for large groups and retreats.

We went to the Murder Mystery Weekend to celebrate a birthday and it was magical! The Levis family innkeepers are thoughtful and attentive, the mystery clever, and the food delicious. All in an amazingly beautiful place. The Green Mountain House was perfect for our group of friends. We’ll be back!

I stayed at the Wilburton Inn in the Maxwell House for a wedding Oct 26.  The perfect cottage suite I was expecting in Vermont.
So peaceful, private, and a lovely view of the mansion.
My bed was divine, lots of pillows & blankets , so cozy!
My 22 year old son stayed in a room on the third floor of the mansion and he said it was very nice. Boys don’t say much. :)

This was a wonderful place to stay. Meesha went overboard to make our stay perfect including apple cider donuts in the main house. Meticulous attention to all the details to make a stay perfect, including a little bottle of maple syrup from Vermont and maple cookies. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains.  Lots of privacy, and a place for a restful retreat, while being close to Manchester.
