We have stayed at many Aman properties before, but the service here is the worst. I was charged $206 for a 60-minute blow-dry at the salon, even though the hairdresser only worked on me for 25 minutes. When I informed the front desk, they did nothing.

The girl at the front desk was extremely slow and spoke as if she didn’t want to serve us. This is the worst experience, especially after flying from another country to stay at what was supposed to be a dream destination. The photos are beautiful, but the food and service are not professional at all compared to the price.

Some of the people are what makes Amangiri special. Firstly, the F&B Manager Juan is a special person — he is genuinely warm hearted. Juan and the talented Chef Eric in the main dining made magic happen at every meal. Also our food restrictions were met with ease. Nicolette made sure our activities were organized before we got there. Jae Jae our guide is the resorts best! We had a rough start at Camp Sarika where we witnessed Chef Bidur shouting at a waiter in front of all the guests. But we avoided Camp Sarika after the first night as the food quality is inconsistent. Camp Sarika menu changes each night and the quality is mediocre — where the meat was overdone and the fish was underdone. Overall Amangiri is a special and unique destination. We will be back! Thank you!

Avoid this Hotel at All Costs!

I booked this hotel and had an absolutely terrible experience. They took my money and canceled reservation and will not do the refund. The days they offer are much worse and I refuse to settle for less than what I originally booked. It’s a SCAM! I called them many times and spoke with the manager, I was met with rude behavior and no resolution. It’s clear this place doesn’t care about its guests at all—they just want to take your money and run.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. There are much better options out there!

Paid a over 4500 a night. Was not accessible, staff is abrasive. DARK black room with no hot water I ran it for over 30 minutes. Going to the lobby with a bike 🏍 gear and little or no ease of access. If you are planning to go to your car and room too many obstacles. Price was suggested by highway robbery. IF I DIDNT have 30k in bikes to tune for page it was not accessible for me and little to go through from all the staff. DARK.....
