The Odd Duck is a great dining option in Austin. As soon as you walk in, you feel the cool vibe and cozy atmosphere. Place was very busy on a Thursday evening when I had dinner with my nephew. I recommend making a reservation in advance.

The staff are very warm, friendly, and attentive. They are helpful in recommending items on the menu and as each course is served, they are very good about describing the dish in detail.  Each of the dishes we tried had very unique flavors and textures, all extremely delicious! They also offer a large selection of cocktails and wines.

The Odd Duck is a place I highly recommend for celebrating a special occasion or a nice night out on the town with friends.

Odd Duck absolutely lived up to the hype, vibe-wise and food-wise. The service was phenomenal, but let me just cut to the chase—the cornbread with butter changed my life. Perfectly crispy crust, soft interior, and butter that must have been hand-delivered from the heavens. I’m still dreaming about it.

The quail was solid—good, but not a dish I’d trek across town for. Other dishes were also tasty, and the pickled veggies were a nice touch. I don’t think I’ve ever had a pickled olive before, but hey, I guess that’s why they call it Odd Duck. Definitely a spot I’d visit again, even if just for that life-altering cornbread.

Had a great birthday dinner there last night and highly recommend them for not only the delicious food but also the great service!! I'll try to list all the dishes and caption each but definitely get the cornbread. The tots (side for the steak) are also really really good. My fiance actually said both the corn bread and the tots were his favorite of the night lol. Can also recommend the pork chop and the fish, basically we didn't have anything we wouldn't order again.

Wow. Wow. Wow. We came here as part of a large group that was going to be in Austin for two nights. I specifically requested we go here the first night because I needed to leave town for the next night and I thought this was the best venue. When we got there, they had a fixed menu because of our large group, but we still got to try 8  different dishes as well as two desserts. I started with an Herb your enthusiasm drink - botanical gin forward and perfectly refreshing. The cornbread with the garlic butter was amazing. We had several other dishes that were fantastic, including grilled Wagyu. a pork chop, blackened redfish, fried crisp broccoli with chicken skins, sweet potato Thai salad. For dessert we had probably the best fees leche ever snd a funnel cake topped with a specialized cheddar cheese and apples wtf! Interesting. Not for me but a neat idea. The staff couldn’t have been better, anything we wanted to try they were happy to bring out in terms of different beers cider wine. They couldn’t have made us feel more welcome and more encouraged to come back to Austin and see them again. So please go see them yourselves.!

So good! The staff were super accommodating for vegans! We ordered every vegan option and the skillet cornbread (not vegan).

We also tried their mocktails and they were delicious. They have really good lattes too!
