I’ve officially lived in providence for a year now, and I’ve tried at least one new restaurant every week. I have to say that after a year of tasting providence, this restaurant is hands down my absolute favorite.

I’ve tried tons of expensive Mediterranean restaurants, and just about every single gourmet pizza place in the city. But the Brooklyn style pizza (under gourmet pizza on the menu) and the Beef Shawarma (under zesty bites) were the most incredible things I’ve had in this city. Portions were more than fair for the price you pay (about $15 per person and we still had to take everything home). Tons of vegetarian options as well.

The staff was local and down to earth, and talked to us casually like we were old friends. It’s genuinely a wonderful spot to be. The food was perfect, the service was fast, and they will absolutely be getting all of my money from here on out.

Very tasty and authentic food! I tried the Falafel, hummus, chicken and beef shawerma and kibbeh all are amazing!

My friends s say his pizza is awesome too!

Definitely becoming a regular here!

We were visiting from NYC so not really high expectations but wanted something filling for dinner for the evening. We got the chicken shwarma platter, a combo platter of chicken and beef, and a regular pizza with bbq chicken on top. (Not the bbq pizza which appears to not have pizza sauce on it). The gentlemen was nice to my husband who went to pick up the food. The rice actually had flavor which was a nice surprise. The kids liked the coleslaw and the pizza was great. Just a tad on the sweeter side which I actually liked. They gave some garlic sauce and tahin sauce. The garlic sauce was super strong so be careful with it. Food was good. The beef a bit chewy but I didn’t mind that. Overall would get again if I come back Rhode Island.

We passed by the other day after a recommendation of a friend of mine. Very authentic flavors. The toum spread is very creamy and garlicky. The chicken shawarma tastes great! We also ordered a beef pepperoni pizza which was amazing, the dough was crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside!

Unbelievable experience at Zesty Bites today! Stumbled in on a complete whim and could not be happier we did! Fiancé got the Beef Shawarma and I got the Zesty Bites version of the same with an order of Hummus. Best Shawarma either of us have ever had. Best Hummus without a question. The owner was very friendly and even gave us each a piece of the cheese pizza to try. Beautiful slice. Cheese blend was perfect with a fresh sweet and light sauce and a crispy crust that held it together. 11/10.
