Quite honestly New York Gyro has never once failed me. I order late late at night for delivery and their food is so very perfect.

The chicken platter with all the veggies is so delicious. The meat is quality for the price and has a delightful seasoning.

The chicken wings are positively enormous and so incredibly juicy. Wings are always somewhat more expensive but these are worth every penny.

The Gyro is well worth your time as well, has a nice spice and is always fresh.

The Beef Patty hides slightly on the menu however it absolutely should not be missed because it has so much flavor.

The samosas are better than some actual Indian restaurants. The most delightfully crispy, silky perfection inside and always freshly prepared even at 2:30 AM is a miracle.

For those that work late and sometimes need food at this hour New York Gyro is an absolute LIFESAVER and I couldn't be more thankful. However, you will also find their food is every bit worth your time whether it is noon, 5 PM or 2 AM.

Lastly, I stopped in once the staff is always friendly, this spot is tastefully appointed, and worth the trip. New York Gyro is one of the best deals in town, a treat for the taste buds and easy on the wallet.

TL;DR: Rice, chicken, flavors & portion sizing are not hitting like they used too. Very inconsistent lately.

I have to agree with someone else's review, seems to be a switch up in their kitchen. We've ordered via DD often, when we decide we don't want to cook at home. The flavors from the rice *used* to be great where you could eat it by itself, the chicken was well cooked and not dry. And they *used* to fill the whole 3 slot container with rice, along with remembering all your toppings.

Now, the last couple months, the chicken seems off, the rice has been not as flavorful, and they don't fill you up to the top making you feel like you were getting that BANG for your buck. They also have not been adding all the requested ingredients and sauces lately or they give you the incorrect ones.

We have hopes that this is temporary. We've enjoyed the food SO much in the past that we think you should try it to come to your own conclusions. But if this is the new normal, we unfortunately may need to find a new favorite go-to.

One of the only places in the Twin Cities to get authentic NYC style halal cart. We really enjoyed the lamb & chicken (mixed platter) with lots of fresh toppings and extra sauce. Good portion size for takeout orders.

I bought fish today, but it had a terrible smell. The meat was rotten and gave off a bad odor. I tried calling customer service, but no one answered. I want to let them know that they shouldn't sell misrepresented or spoiled products to anyone.

My friend introduced me to this place and when I tell you it did not disappoint at all!! Great delicious food for the low, excellent costumer service and a clean place.
