The place is a bit hidden, kinda like a speakeasy. It’s dark and beautifully designed inside.

Everything we ordered was delicious. They have a cool variety of cocktails, some of them being extra special(?), like one with load of fresh garlic (which was actually good).

Note that the lasagna is huge and we shared it between 3 people along with 2 pastas and 2 apps, which was a bit much.

Anyway, good spot. Worth checking out!

Love this place!! Ambience was amazing, lighting highlights such different parts of the restaurant and decor, and had such an enjoyable experience.

The food was amazing, all flavored so well and portions felt really big and reasonable for the price.

But best part was definitely the service!! Jordan, our waitress, was so polite and on top of everything. Really made the night so enjoyable, and all the other servers were amazing too. The person responsible for filling up our water cups was always so quick and made sure we were never thirsty!!

Arancini was so good. Caesar salad was kind of hard to eat since the lettuce pieces weren’t cut up.

Will definitely come back for the service!

My husband and I wanted to try this cool new restaurant out for our anniversary. The beginning of the evening started out well. We waited a little for our reservation but that wasn’t a problem. We were able to wait at the bar and grab a cocktail. These were very good! The restaurant presented us with a celebratory drink at our table. It took a little while to order, no problem they were busy. The appetizers were good however once we got our appetizers the service was poor and we had empty water glasses on the table the whole night. I had to ask for water from a passing by server 3 times in order for anyone to notice that we needed our glass filled. And one of the times my glass was filled but my husband’s glass was left empty…and I had to ask the server to return to the table to refill my husband’s glass. The main food was nowhere near the quality of Italian food expected for the price point of this restaurant. Especially for being in the North End with a hundred other Italian places with much better portions and taste.
The chocolate cake was not my favorite. Although this is a preference opinion. I like my cake to be more of a moist sponge cake but this cake was a very rich flourless texture chocolate cake.
Overall for the price to dine here it was not worth the experience we had.

We recently visited Red Fox Restaurant in the North End and found the experience to be a mixed bag. We tried the bolognese, Caesar salad, prosciutto, and zeppole, but unfortunately, the food was unremarkable. While not bad, it didn’t leave a lasting impression.

The restaurant is clearly aiming for a specific vibe and ambiance that seems geared toward those with a nostalgic fondness for the 1980s. It has a kitschy charm, but it may not appeal to everyone. The thematic music added to the atmosphere, though it wasn’t quite to our taste.

Red Fox could work well as a date night spot for those who enjoy a retro, quirky experience. However, it’s not a place we’d be inclined to revisit.

Old school lounge vibes meet innovative Italian cuisine. Loved this place! From the cocktails to the menu, it’s thoughtful and well executed. Try the seasonal milk punch! The service was refreshing. Everyone there seemed passionate about the food and experience. I need to go back and try everything!
