It’s been quite challenging to get a reservation here - they only open up 7 days ahead of time and go fast. Given this, we had high expectations, and they were mostly met. The ambience is fun, though quite boisterous. They seem to pack a lot of people into the space, although due to the layout of the circular booths, it doesn’t feel like you’re on top of each other.

There is a constant stream of serving staff pacing back and forth, intensely talking through their radio system, and constant movement. Given the amount of staff, there were a few wrinkles and waits that we didn’t expect, but nothing that had a significantly negative impact on the overall experience.

The food was mostly fantastic. The pastas especially were flavorful and rich, several of the sides were spectacularly tasty, and the swordfish deserves a special mention. One criticism may be that everything was fairly heavy and rich.

Overall, food was definitely on the expensive side, and the wine list even more so. It was a little shocking to see that where we wanted to have a nice bottle of Barolo, there was one option at $160, but everything else was $400 and upwards, some much much more upwards.

We had a great evening though, and were definitely satisfied, full and happy.

Where do I start? I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The service was exceptional from the moment I made the reservation until the end of our meal. The staff was incredibly attentive, and our waitress was simply perfect.

The appetizers were good, and the pastas were delicious. The 60 days dry aged steak was cooked to perfection. When we requested truffle for one of our pastas, they were also able to accommodate ( for an additional $49 if I’m not mistaken. )I also appreciated their mocktail menu.

The restaurant is beautiful, with stunning views in the main dining room.

Gorgeous place amazing food , drinks at the bar were top notch.  Bartenders Cameron and Michael both super kind and really know what they're doing. Super tasty cocktails! The waitress in the main dining room was a little scattered but overall I'm def coming back again for the food. All the dishes were amazing. Cacio e Pepe was perfect. Stick to the pastas as far as entrees as they're super fresh. a little on the the salty side but otherwise amazing. Dessert was a miss except the special one they make for your bday. Pastry chef needs to not add so much sugar and or salt. Other than that gorgeous space and lovely place must come here!

My partner and I stumbled in on a whim for an early dinner on a Sunday, and were quite delighted by a warm casual-yet-elevated atmosphere. Our server Levi was very knowledgable of the menu and provided great recommendations, even treating us to a little extra knowing what we liked and were interested in. The food was all really well done. The sharing style did not mean skimping on portions, so we definitely left satisfied and full. Top recommendations are the duck ragu for dinner and the pear sorbet for dessert

I had an incredible dining experience at Tre Dita in Chicago! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening. Abby and the rest of the staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we felt right at home.

The menu offers a fantastic selection of authentic Italian dishes, and everything we ordered was simply delicious. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were rich and vibrant. I highly recommend the A5 Kagoshima Kuroushi New York Strip, Linguine Al Limone, Tagliatelle Al Ragù and Gnudi Di Spinach it was a true standout!

We also enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine from their extensive list, which complemented our meal beautifully. To top it all off, the dessert was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.

Tre Dita is a gem in Chicago, and I can’t wait to return for another amazing dinner. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this restaurant is a must-try!
