Room was clean, bed was comfortable, good location.  Issue with private event (rooftop bar area) music went to 2am & kept us up due to being very loud & walls vibrating from music.  Need a cut off time of 12am for music.  People stay at a hotel to sleep & you can’t with the loud music.  The hotel employee took special event guest up to the 4th floor several times for the event & wouldn’t let any of the hotel guests use the elevator this kept several of us waiting 15 min to get to our floor.  Everyone should be able to use any elevator at any time as we are paying guests as well.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Godfrey Hotel for a girls' trip, and it was a major disappointment from the start. Despite paying $879 for two nights, the quality of the stay was far from what one would expect at this price point. The cost is not a concern for me; I am willing to pay for a high-quality experience. What matters most is having an exceptional and enjoyable time.

Upon arriving, we immediately noticed several issues in our room. The toilet seat was completely off, the phone was non-functional, the towel rack was off its hinges, and the coffee machine was broken. As someone with many years of experience in the hospitality industry, I understand that things can go wrong, but the sheer number of problems we encountered was unacceptable.

The only highlight of our stay was the service at the bar upstairs. However, even this was marred by the fact that we were stopped and asked for wristbands, despite being guests with room keys. We had to go all the way back downstairs to get the wristbands before being allowed entry. For the price we paid, I expected five-star service, but sadly, it felt more like staying at a budget motel. This experience has shown me that price does not equate to quality, and I will not be booking at the Godfrey Hotel again.

Very nice hotel. Clean, affordable, close to many things.  The only thing that was disappointing was there was a private rooftop party the night we stayed. The party and music were very loud and we were unable to sleep. The music went until 2am and the the guests proceeded to be loud in the hallways afterwards. We paid to have a nice place to rest and had no rest at all.

If you have to use valet, DO NOT BOOK A STAY HERE. The overall hotel is nice… rooftop is beautiful & the food is good. However, the valet team is not reliable. My car door was damaged and after I reported my damage they had the nerve to tell me that my truck was being used for “training”.  They manipulated a ticket saying that they documented damage the day I checked in. I attached the photos below, you can clearly see that there are two different inks and handwriting from the original ticket and the one they created  the day of checkout once the damage was noticed and reported. The valet manger even went so far to say that he was the one who parked my vehicle and documented the damage which is also a lie because it was a female and I have a cashapp tip to her to prove it. The hotel management and the valet company refuses to take accountability. The hotel management won’t even go so far as to give me a call back to address the issue. Very, VERY POOR service. How does management refuse to speak with a customer? This is the most terrible and disrespectful treatment I have ever experienced when dealing with a hotel.

The bed is uncomfortable, online make the hotel look way fancier than in person. Rooftop happy hour was a plus great sliders and strong well made cocktails. Parking is $75 a night . Not worth $300 a night to me.
