Excellent food, consistently phenomenal service, and nice and upscale atmosphere. I'm a big fan of the focaccia pizzas. On my most recent visit, the octopus salad (pictured) was spectacular. It's now become my reference point for how octopus should be cooked - tender and non-chewy on the inside, a little bit of char on the outside. Even their less expensive wines are delicious, and the servers are engaged and knowledgeable. One of my favorite places in Southport, and worth going out of your way for.

Coda di Volpe is my favorite restaurant in Chicago. It's become a regular go-to spot among my friends and family for pretty much every special event we have. But I sometimes just like to pop in, sit at the bar, and enjoy an espresso martini or two (which is the best I've ever had).

All my visits have been nothing short of outstanding. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with warmth and professionalism that sets the tone for a lovely experience. The ambiance is always lovely, but my favorite time to go is in the summer, when they have the windows open and you can feel the warm breeze coming in.

Special thanks to Taariq, who always goes above and beyond to make guests feel valued. It’s rare to find such a personal touch in today’s dining scene, and it makes every visit feel special.

Great food, atmosphere and service. The pizza and pasta were so good -very comparable to pizza and pasta in Italy. Our only regret is we didn’t order more food! Oh and I had orange wine. That was interesting.

Walk in dinner no reservation, sat at the bar. Had the tuna crudo, a bit spicy-soupy for me. Enjoyed the Chicken Diavola, great flavor and friend enjoyed a pasta dish all with a couple bottles of wine. Service was excellent, woman at the bar tries too hard…

We ate on the patio and brought our dog.  The service was beyond great.  The food was the best outside of Italy we have ever had.  Nothing less than amazing.  We decided to make an afternoon of it and tasted everything we could and shared.  Nothing was less than perfect.  We highly recommend the true Napoli style pizza.  We sampled 2.  The meatball sub was crazy good and very generous in portion.  We really loved the caccio di pepe was light and balanced perfectly.  I don't think I can eat pasta anywhere else again.  The Italian chopped salad had plenty of artichoke and amazing olives.  We didn't add protein but will next time.  We stayed for cappuccino and dessert.  Based on the season we had the caramel apple Gelato and apple crostada.  Both were good but we prefer the Gelato.  We will be their new best customers.
