Breathtaking spot to stop by and look out into the amazing landscape of Oahu with its mountains and its ocean. You can see the beach, the surfers, and most importantly, the Halona Blowhole from behind a guardrail. Although the water wasn’t going through the blowhole as perfectly; nonetheless, the view was spectacular all around.

Beautiful People! This is a must! Ok, if you’re visiting Honolulu, make time for the Halona Blowhole Lookout—this spot is a gem! It’s easy to get to, but keep an eye out for the entrance since there’s only one way in and out. If you miss it, you’ll have to drive a couple of miles to turn around, but the ocean views on the way make the extra drive worthwhile. The road winds along the cliffs, and when you come over the hill, the ocean just opens up before you—it’s a spectacular reveal!

The lookout itself is easy to navigate, with ramps and safety rails that let you get close to the blowhole. For those up for a little adventure, there’s a rock “stairway” you can climb down, which leads to a beautiful little beach area. It’s not an official path, so you’ll need to pick your way down carefully, but once you’re there, it’s like you’ve found a hidden beach paradise. It’s a perfect spot for relaxing, with waves crashing up against big rocks nearby and a view that’s totally unique to this place.

And of course, there’s the blowhole itself! When the waves hit just right, the water shoots up through the rocks in this huge, dramatic spray. The wind up top can get intense, so be sure to hold onto any loose hats. The whole experience—the waves, the view, the secluded beach—feels like a slice of Hawaiian magic.

The blowhole is fun to watch, but the small beach in the cove just to the side of the lookout point is also worth checking out. There's a moderately steep climbing path in the uphill corner of the north lookout entrance leading down to the beach, and the sand slopes gently down into the water from the beach. The currents in the cove can be strong in rough surf, so stay within your comfort zone and don't go too far out. But if you need to cool off or would enjoy letting the waves knock you around a bit it's a fun little spot.

Nice lookout to get some good scenic photos. Plenty of parking. Didn't spend more than 10 minutes here because there isn't much to do other then take some scenic photos but worth checking out. Saw some people walking down on the beach so there might be a pathway.. I say might, because I also saw people walking on areas which were definitely not walking paths.. so who is to say :p

Small spot on the side of the road. Parking are was very small and completely filled. Had to wait a while before a spot opened up. Just beware people waiting for parking spots do not abide by the first come first serve idea so you might need to be assertive to get a spot. Other than that it was a great stop.
