Needed a spot nearby for brunch and this was highly recommended by a local resident as a "hidden gem".  We ordered and found a spot outside in the shade though they have seating inside too. Coffee was decent and the breakfast chorizo hit the spot. My brunch partner was impressed with the hot sauce which turns out is their own brand though they had 2 others if it's not to your liking.

A cute little hidden spot for a nice breakfast/brunch.

There is parking in the front, but I’m never sure if we are really allowed to use it.

Here you need to get in line to order your food and they will bring it to you after.
The place can be crowded and you could wait some time, but there is a lot of space to sit around.

It is very chill.
There are a lot of options to choose from. I’ve tried a few things.
This time, we got the Fried Egg Sandwich and the Bluey’s Burger.
The sandwich is good with its sauce but gets very messy so just be prepared.
Their fries are good. I have never tried the burger but was told it is good.

I have tried their peanut butter shake, which I really enjoyed!

Overall, the food is enjoyable and you get to sit outside. So, I would recommend this place for the overall experience and chill vibe.

The standout dish for me has to be the butternut squash pancakes. They are nothing short of divine—light, fluffy, and they practically melt in your mouth. The perfect blend of sweet and savory, these pancakes are a must-try and truly set Blueys apart. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a delightful dining experience every time. If you’re in Santa Monica, Blueys is a breakfast spot you cannot miss!

"Tribeca" vibes.  Very cool. 3 stars for service only because it is not a table service place. No waiters, you just order at the counter and take your number. Otherwise, fantastic experience.

Amazing tasty food. Good service. The vegan pancakes are to die for. The fries are really good too.
