We had high expectations for the Conrad, but it was a significant letdown, largely due to the lack of care from General Manager Francisco Corbin and his team. Despite informing them of my wife’s birthday, there wasn’t even a simple acknowledgment. Worse, when I reported a cockroach crawling across my foot (photo attached), the management didn't care. Everyone knows if there’s one roach, there are likely many more hidden, yet this serious issue was ignored.

The food was another major disappointment—bland, uninspired, and nowhere near the quality expected at a Conrad. Even my children complained. Service was inconsistent, with some excellent staff overshadowed by others who seemed indifferent. At the kids’ club, our children were turned away because we weren’t immediately present, leaving them to wander off instead of being cared for.

We’ve stayed at many properties in Mexico before, and while they weren’t as luxurious, they had something this hotel lacks: heart and soul. Genuine care and attentiveness make all the difference, and unfortunately, this Conrad falls short. Beautiful facilities mean little when paired with poor leadership, bad food, and inconsistent service. We won’t be returning.

I attended a conference for work and brought my family, so we were there a total of 7 nights. The resort is gorgeous and just the right size to feel exclusive and intimate, but large enough to have a variety of options and views. The layout gives guests multiple options for quiet spots to post up at different pools. The beach is beautiful and in a calm cove. The food and beverage program was outstanding, and so was the service. For the work part, the conference center is one of, if not the, nicest I’ve been to. The catering, A/V, and service were top notch. Personally, my family enjoyed the resort amenities and restaurants and were well taken care of by the lovely staff.

Beautiful installation with incredible facilities like Spa, Store, many Restaurants to choose from, the Pools are breath taking. Perfect for a Honeymoon. Right on a private Beach. When you are at this hotel you forget about life for a while. The rooms are super comfortable, nicely furnished and have a balcony with a bathtub. Great people around at all times ready to help and serve the guests with kindness and care. A shout out to Gustavo, a waitress at the breakfast restaurant, he was excellent 👌 thank you all for making us feel special.

Spent the perfect 4 days at the Conrad Tulum. As  Hilton team member, I can assure you that the service was fantastic! Everyone is approachable and authentic. I went to the spa on different days and everyone was so attentive. I felt truly welcome. Claudia was my massage therapist for both of my services and she was great with such a good vibe  and healing hands. The breakfast buffet is everything and the hotel pool bar has delicious bar style food and crafted drinks. I truly adore this hotel.
Just know it is outside the main town of Tulum, about 25 minutes drive.

The Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya is more than just a place to vacation, it is an experience. From the moment you walk in the staff does everything possible to ensure that your stay is exceptional. Every member of the team goes out of their way to ensure all of your needs are met and your expectations exceeded.

Dining at the resort is phenomenal and there is a variety of restaurants to choose from. I think my favorite was the breakfast buffet and highly recommend the French toast. The servers throughout the resort remember you every day and always make you feel at home. The bar manager, Sergio, took the time to host an impromptu mezcal tasting when we were at lunch which was completely on the house. The next day, he found us and gave us fresh cacao beans to try and explained the cultural importance of the cacao plant in Mayan tradition. Dinner requires reservation, but we never had trouble getting in at our desired time.

The pools and beach are kept in pristine condition and throughout the day are a great place to socialize and unwind. You might even spot a sunbathing lizard or hear a howler monkey in the jungle. We were able to meet multiple other travelers at the pool and were more than happy to pass our time hanging out with them - we even planned a day trip to see Chichen Itza with another couple that we met there!

The rooms are amazing with even better views. Our room was upgraded on arrival and was nothing short of an oasis. Private jacuzzi tubs are on the back of every patio, so you can spend your evenings soaking in the tub under the beautiful moonlight of the Yucatán peninsula. Housekeeping came through multiple times per day, and even left a hand-made figurine on our very last evening there.

All in all, I highly recommend staying at the Conrad and fully plan on returning in the future. They have done a wonderful job planning every single detail to make sure you have a great experience and feel at home.
