Rated as one of the top 50 bars in North America, I would agree. The cocktails were creative and delicious. There was no wait for a table even though seating is somewhat limited. The bar is themed after Darwin's adventures to the Galapagos. All around fun cocktail bar.

Tasty, complex, and inventive cocktails. When we visited, the first half of the menu had cocktails focused on particular ingredients (e.g., tomato or strawberry) while the second half was more free form.
A word of warning if you're not fluent in Spanish: "tuna" is prickly pear, not the fish, even though the menu translates "Destilado de tuna" as "tuna distillate".

Atmosphere 8/10
Located a bit farther away from the main bar scene in CDMX. Offers outside seating, inside tables/couches, and limited bar seating. Cozy atmosphere with a lot of nature/plants/insects design elements. Offers a great opportunity to sip on a cocktail and check out the design details for the whole stay! The backbar is not really in focus due to the layout.

Drinks 9.5/10
Recommendation: Granada + Naranja
Creative cocktail menu around 5 main ingredients: Rice, Tomato, Pomegranate, Kiwi, and Strawberry. All drinks have an indication of the alcohol amount. The garnish and taste are represented in all of the cocktails very well. Some cocktails had very cool/unique glass shapes, like the Granada + Naranja served in a triangle glass. The cocktails tasted great. All ingredients were well balanced in the drinks. Nice coasters.

Service 7/10
The service level was relatively basic - not much to report besides normal friendly staff and water served upfront. Prices are about average for CDMX.

Excellent cocktails. Great staff. And a wonderful vibe. Baltra is one of the best bars in Mexico and the casual vibe is a winner. Located in the hip neighbourhood of Condesa, Baltra is popular with locals and tourists. We had a very good evening here.

This if one of my favorite cocktail bars in CDMX! Every cocktail I had here was creative and delicious. The service was good, the interior design is cool. I will say that it was quite packed and a bit loud, but what matters is that the drinks are fantastic.
