I live in San Francisco and am a fine dining foodie - have been to several Michelin restaurants all over the world. Food and service at Cocina de Aurora are very, very good. Really enjoyed all the dishes and cocktails. On par with other amazing restaurants around the world.

It is very pricey, especially considering it’s Mexico. But the quality did not disappoint. Our meal was $800 USD with 20% tip (we drank a lot and got the 10 courses).

The restaurant and ambiance are beautiful. It was our anniversary and they had a special dessert for us. I love chocolate and needed another bite, they immediately brought me more. Not sure what other reviewers were taking about service being off and flavors lacking — that was not our experience at all. We had a world class meal from start to finish.

Absolutely world class
The wine and food pairings were absolutely brilliant !!
This is a must do for sure. First time we have experienced Michelin Chefs.  All a I can saw is wow !!!!
The exquisite flavors were fantastic!!  All the way down to the desert.  Every course we were like OMG !!!
Anyone who know fine dining will fully appreciate this place.  One of the best dinner experiences my wife and I have had.  The service as well was the best. Waiters were very attentive and top notch.
Couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary dinner experience

We enjoyed our experience at Cocina de Autor.  The atmosphere was wonderful and most of the dishes were really good.  The service was okay, not great, but maybe they were having an off night.  Worth a visit

We were very excited with the prospect of eating in the only Michelin star restaurant in Los Cabos.  However our disappointment was great.  Not only the food was subpar, but at the end the waiter cheated us charging our credit card in dollars instead of in pesos as requested by me, this way adding $100 to the bill. The food was over salted - both the corn soup and the mini steak.  The ice cream tasted like soap. Michelin, please take the star away!

This restaurant is amazing. you must try it. I was able to get a reservation through my stay at the Grand Velas
