And, the bread. I have to talk about the bread. It is life changing and my advice is to not hesitate in requesting a second portion.

I’m in love with the incredible food and atmosphere Chris and the team create. Every time I’m pleasantly surprised by the combination of flavors and constantly high quality ingredients, not to mention impeccable service.

20 Victoria definitely became my happy place in Toronto during the last two years! I struggle to find a place that would be somewhere close to this restaurant not only in Toronto, but around the world.

From the moment you walk in, it feels like home. Casual yet so welcoming with an open Center kitchen to witness the magic. Chef Julie is phenomenal in the way she balances each ingredient making every course special. The food is delicious and I absolutely love the constant menu changes to highlight the freshest and in season produce and protein, not to mention the presentation and style of cooking is so unique. Everything here is top notch and I love that they do a virgin wine pairing, absolutely all the vibes here. Absolutely worth a trip to the city. The dessert here is a treat all in itself. Must try and must comeback all the time to try the seasonal dishes.

Second time here this year. A great spot in my opinion, the bar menu continues to change regularly at an irregular pace 😆 Great execution with a priority on local (but some out of region items). The cabbage was incredible and then the Iberico pork was my next favourite.

I’d say the whitefish wasn’t my favourite kind of fish & cook style but I can appreciate the attention to detail and execution: skin was crispy, fish incredibly tender, good balance of the sauce. We previously had halibut on a different visit and that was divine!

Can’t wait for my next visit.

Out of all the Michelin restaurants I've dined at in the city, this one has been the most disappointing. Perhaps I should have gone for the tasting menu, but the ala carte items were hit or miss.

The scallop crudo was pretty one-note and tasted too sour overall. They scallops were also sliced in an amateur way and the presentation did not look as refined as you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. The squab was too gamey and I wish they seasoned it more, or used a more flavourful sauce. The Iberico pork was bland and the lemon topping felt reused from the scallop dish...

The only dish that I enjoyed was the veal tartare. It was well-seasoned and the chips added a good crunch to it. While everything else wasn't terrible, the whole experience felt "meh".

Also, the bar seats are VERY cramped. Unlike its name suggests, it's not even at the bar - it's just a row of couch seats by the window with a small table. You get to see the kitchen in front of you, sure, but it's a pretty claustrophobic experience. If you like taking food pics like me, note that the whole restaurant is very dark and that makes it hard to take good photos.
