Great food and great service!!! If you plan to dine in for a special event, this is the best place!!! We loved our 2 servers… (these 2 ladies I forgot their names) they informed us details of each food they were serving, and they are very attentive to our needs. They are humble, kind, friendly, approachable. Top class service was provided to us even though me and my husband were dressed simple. It means, they treat everyone the same and not based on your status. And that’s how restaurant servers should be. And that’s what people will love the best, the excellent service! My husband and I left with smile on our faces… this restaurant is on the top 1 of my list of best restaurants. Thank you all so much! Please continue to give great experience for everyone ❤️

I visited Boulevard with my partner to celebrate her birthday dinner here.

The food and drinks were delicious. They have a comprehensive wine list and the servers are very helpful with finding the right match for your meal.

They offered us veggie shots and dessert, on the house knowing we were celebrating a birthday, which was very thoughtful.

My family and I really wanted to give this restaurant a five star review because the food was beautiful and delicious but we were really disappointed with the service.

We had left-overs we wanted to take home. When we asked for a box, we asked the staff if we could pack the left overs ourselves and our waiter simply stated they could not let us do that (funny because they had let us do it in the past) but we decided to give in this time since their answer was so firm. She asked what we wanted packed and we SPECIFICALLY said the crab leg and the lamb shank, we even moved everything into a single dish to be packed together. For some reason another waiter came in, grabbed the dish and I assume packed it for us. Well lone and behold, my mother who was looking forward to dining on her delicious grab legs this afternoon, did not find them in the box. I knew I should have checked the box before leaving the restaurant. I don’t understand why we can’t pack our leftovers ourselves, especially after we made a request to?? And if you’re so insistent on doing it on our behalf at least get it right, we even moved everything we wanted onto a single plate for godsake. Service was horrible!

For the food, we had ordered the seafood tower for two, the lamb shank, the foie gras, some other appetizers from the happy hour menu, and the bonbon service. From the photos you can see how lovely everything was, except maybe for that 1 oyster from the seafood tower everything tasted great (circled in the image: we were concerned at how flat the meat was as they’re usually nice and plump, so we left it as we didn’t want to risk getting sick).

We had higher expectations for service at a Michelin restaurant.

This place has a large variety for happy hour.  Great prices as well. The regular menu and specials are a tad on the pricier side, but the quality is good.  You get what you pay for. The ravioli special was excellent, even though it's was $40 for a piece. The piece was much bigger than regular ravioli though.  Service was very attentive,  and the restaurant was fancy.  I would definitely come back.

I had an amazing dinner the other night at Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar in Vancouver.

Food, Service and overall ambiance were all amazing.

My all time favorite Lagavulin 16yr from Islay had to be the starting point of this great dinner.

Next I had an amazing dish of seared scallops, chiang mai sausage and eggplant with a red curry sauce and lemongrass rice pilaf….. Paired with Tantalus, a Riesling from the Okanagan.

Next was a fresh caught fillet of Halibut with a bone marrow crust in a brown butter and ink sauce. That was paired with 2 glasses of a Garnier & Fils Chardonnay from Chablis.

Dessert was epic. One of the most elegant dishes I have ever seen and tasted. crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Kenta Takahashi, recognized as Canada’s Best Pastry Chef in 2024, 2023, and 2020. It was a jasmine panna cotta, lychee, mango jelly, banana, pineapple compote and jasmine ice cream. Beautifully floral.

Now that was paired with the star of the night. A beautiful Muscat de Beaumes De Venise….. An Elegant dessert wine. Second best to my favourite Vin De Constance by Klein Konstantia.

Special Thank you to Marshall, the person who graciously guided me through my dinner and extended his impeccable service to myself.

If you ever find yourself in Vancouver and want to treat yourself and the ones you love to a great culinary experience, I highly recommend it.
