The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make our birthday celebration feel special, offering personalized touches that made the day unforgettable. A beautiful layout, very modern with several rooms each decorated slightly different yet very stylish. We went in as a group of 6 and were seated in the far end of the building which seemed to be more of a restaurant vibe than a bar. We were served by a very tall lady who couldn't be less interested in us if she tried. We had to ask her over several times after long waits which really did detract from the venue.
We ordered some sharers which were very nice and had several cocktails again which were lovely. A great venue which was slightly let down by the waiter staff. This would not put us off going back , however next time we would use the bar area as you first walk in.

Had a great stay here with some friends for a birthday celebration. Great location, really handy for restaurants, shops and bars and staff couldn't have been nicer. Will definitely be back.

I had been given a gift voucher for Afternoon Tea for 2. I pre-booked and informed them I was a vegetarian. Booking was straightforward, they got back to me and asked for my gift card code, which I provided. I checked they could cater for my vegetarian request. Thankfully when we arrived we were shown to a table in a small backroom area as the music was far too loud in the main bar areas. Even tucked away at the back next to the serving area my friend and I could hardly hear each other over the loud music. They had not noted that I had requested vegetarian options so I had to point this out to the waitress. Our tea was brought long before the food, which seemed to take ages to come. We needed another pot of tea each by the time it arrived. Whilst the food was quite tasty, the vegetarian substitutes were a variation on a theme and not really well thought out. An open sandwich and a toasted sandwich with the same filling except the toasted one had cheese added. So 3 types of sandwich for me! There were lots of cakes and they did provide boxes for us as we couldn't eat everything, it was far too much. The most disappointing thing was that although my voucher said it was for afternoon tea for 2, it did not cover the full cost of the afternoon tea! The venue did not inform me when I booked that I would need to pay extra. I assume this happened because the voucher was purchased 10 months ago and perhaps prices have gone up, but it should have covered the full cost of afternoon tea as was intended when purchased. They also added a compulsory service charge. Then the waitress handed me the payment pad which was asking me to add an additional tip! It was disappointing that what should have been a free treat someone got me as a gift ended up costing me almost half the cost of my tea for 1! This is only my second visit and both times I have been disappointed by the service and attempts to gain extra payments through various means. I would not book to come here again.

Really nice hotel. Most staff were very personable and welcoming. Bar and restaurant looked amazing but didn’t use myself. Rooms were great with everything you need although, different to the main decor of the reception and bar. Great location in centre of the city that we found ideal for where we were going on our trip. Loads of reviews on here have mentioned the noise from the club under the hotel but we were on the third floor so heard nothing - wasn’t an issue for us at all. However, we didn’t like you had to go through the bar to get to your room when it does look like there is a separate door they don’t seem to use and the older bouncer on the door wasn’t very welcoming at all. Got asked multiple times to show our keycard to prove we were a resident. Have seen it mentioned multiple times in the reviews that it’s a place for a certain type of clientele and I definitely agree. Because of this I don’t think I’d come back but do think some people will love the hotel.
