We loved this pub! The food was great and the service was great once our server calmed down a bit -the place was crowded! We happen to get a table upstairs where it was more quiet. We ate the watercress and pear salad, Vegetarian Haggis with whisky sauce, fish pie. For drinks we had Loch Lomond silkie stout (which was their house cask ale) and Campervan Leith Pils (which was gluten free) Yes they even had gluten free beer!! We ended with sticky toffee pudding - which was delish! I would definitely go back if I lived in Edinburgh - no wonder the place was packed!

Recommended by a local guide who said it was one of his fave pubs and he wasn’t getting a cheeky backhander!
Had the chowder and sausages and both were amazing quality (so much fish and flavour in the chowder!!!) and such good value.
100% worth a visit. Good value, traditional pub with good food and lovely staff.

Quality food and lots of beer selections.
Fish pie with a creamy dill sauce & puff pasty top - in the picture.
We also had East Coast Haddock, breaded & fried with chips & garden peas - very good.

Ducked in for a quick pint on our bar crawl.. quintessential Brit pub! Great atmosphere (i believe there was some football game today).. great service! Good selection of ales.. definitely worth a check in Edinburgh!

Fantastic pub with an excellent range of ales and quality food. Children allowed upstairs in the gallery. Barman was superb; very dry sense of humour which I really appreciated and a great manner. Will greatly look forward to the next time.
