This hotel is the top of my list. The staff are phenomenal in their knowledge and service.  The hotel as well as a few options for meals and a beautiful bar which is very handy when you just don't want to head out for dinner.  The rooms were very clean.
Even after we checked out (we had a few issues with credit card charges) - they were very professional, helpful and followed through completely.  For me, that is the proof in the pudding for how amazing the hotel is!

We absolutely loved this hotel. The hotel itself is stunning, the location is fantastic and the staff is phenomenal. The bar is beautiful, I highly suggest you order some drinks while the piano player is there. We highly suggest you make reservations at Juliette the restaurant across from the bar (we ordered the mussels, steak and fig ravioli all 3 were FANTASTIC)! Please note, the reason I marked 4 stars instead of 5 is because the walls do not have any sound barrier. We had a family next to us for one night and they woke us up coming into the hotel room late at night and then leaving early at 7 am (it was pretty brutal for the price you pay per night landing at +$500).

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel National Luzern this October, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and impeccable service that made us feel right at home.

The hotel itself is stunning – classic elegance combined with Swiss charm, and the views of Lake Lucerne were breathtaking! Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

One of the highlights of our trip was dining at their French restaurant, which we highly recommend. The ambiance was cozy yet sophisticated, and every dish was a delight. The staff made wonderful wine recommendations to pair with our meals, adding that extra touch to our experience.

Overall, the Grand Hotel National Luzern exceeded our expectations in every way. We left with beautiful memories and can't wait to come back! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special.

We loved this hotel! Our room had beautiful views of the lake & was a good size. It also had A/C which was necessary as it was warm in August. It’s walkable to old town & there is such a pretty path along the lake. The pool area is nice but a hot tub would be a great add!

Stunning historic hotel...our favorite stay during our 10-day trip throughout Switzerland. Our suite room was spacious with amazing lake and old town views.  Service was friendly and very attentive across the entire staff. Great location, and easy access to the train station, boat tours, and Old Town sights and restaurants.
