I stayed here during a congress and just for a night. The hotel is located just outside of Interlaken. It is best if you take a car/taxi from the train station. Even though the hotel is just next to the main road, the rooms are on the back and are generally silent… unless you have loud neighbors, which was the case for me. Luckily it was just one night!

Definitely a fine hotel with good value for its price

We stayed 3 nights during winter 2024, spent Christmas on the hotel. The staff is really nice, the rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very good and plenty. The hotel is 10 minutes away from interlaken west or 12 from interlaken east. Bus 21 leave you a couple of meters away from the hotel, important to know the bus schedule which you can find easily on google maps and it is accurate. We walked a couple of times to Interlaken as we enjoy walking as well.

My friend and I just stayed 3 nights... we had an incredible view, staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean. The spa was wonderful. Had the best massage of my life. Breakfast was great. We did have one dinner in the restaurant which was tasty,  although expensive (about $250 CAD for 2 people.. entre, dessert, and one glass of champagne). Service was great!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BASIC ROOMS

We had a wonderful three night, four day stay in the basic rooms at the Salzano Hotel. The rooms are basic, as the name suggests, but reasonably priced and provided everything we needed. This must be the most comfortable bed I have slept in a very long time!  There is a kettle and bar fridge in the room. The bathroom (called a Water closet in this part of the world) is small but again, offers everything you need: shower with shower, wash basin and a toilet.

The staff are fantastic, especially the girl who did our housekeeping, She was wonderfully friendly and attentive.

It was hot, and we would have appreciated some AC in the room, but the fan provided did it's job. The location was perfect for our purpose. We had a rental car, for which free parking was provided. Because we booked directly on the Salzano website, Breakfast was included, and more that adequate.

If I absolutely have to suggest an opportunity for improvement, it would be considering air conditioning and perhaps one or two additional power outlets in the room. It was a bit of a juggling act between boiling the kettle and keeping all the electronic devices fully charged.

We will be back though, and already planning our next trip.

The last two days of the stay hotel didn't have hot water due to no oil in the mechanical room. I was informed by the front desk person. But the views from our room were great. Breakfast was great, though, but the coffee, bread selection, and cereal selection were wonderful.
It was very easy to navigate through the city from the hotel.
