Nice place to stay for a night or two, a little castle with a nice history, built 1914, the rooms was great, good beds, nice breakfast, and terrific dinner. There was only one thing I’m not like.. three kids running around and yelling all the time, it wasn't ghosts, it was children playing while their parents didn't care about them, or other guests they were disturbed. @moggedog

Beautiful jugend castle from 1914 with wonderful staff, gorgeous food and beautiful surroundings. Some rooms might need a bit of an upgrade, a spot of paint or an upgraded bathroom, but besides that it's a truly amazing place.

Was there for a wedding but one of the rooms i was supposed to have had a waterleakage so i had to stay at a closeby place! Excellent food and really good service from the people there :)

But all in all a special castle :)

Checks every box. Food, fun and fabulous beer.

Booked the set dinner and it came with fantastic flavours and excellent service. A wide range of local QMM beers turned the experience dial up one more notch. Add biliards and a shuffle board to the mix and you know you’re in for a good time. Even when traveling with kids.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night whlist out on a roadtrip. The booking was for a double room, four-course meal and breakfast. We didn't quite know what to expect, but the whole visit was amazing! The room, on the third floor, was gorgeous and spaceous. The bathroom was really cool and comfortable, with great amenities.
The service was incredible, with helpful and friendly staff all round. There was a problem with a burst water pipe in the morning, as it had been the hottest day of the year (so hot!!), and the staff did absolutely everything they could to make sure everyone still had a good breakfast and were taken care of. The water problem was also fixed pretty quickly.
The four-course meal was delicious, and the wine (bought separately) was incredible. The lady who served us was knowledgable and very service-minded.
There is really only one thing I didn't love, which seems to be pretty common in hotels (guessing logistics?), which was that the double-room had two separate single beds pushed together. Not connected, and with tho separate mattress pads. They slid apart, and being a couple wanting to sleep together - that isn't very "cuddle friendly", haha! But it seems pretty standard in hotels nowadays, so there is probably a good reason for it.
We stayed at a different 4 star hotel the night before, which boasted greatly in their marketing, but they were more like 2 stars, whilst Bjertorp feels like 5.
