Finally a decent place to eat in Karlstad. For a town so large it has been missing a lovely location to eat for years. The choice of decor is very tasteful.

We had dinner hear on a recommendation. The waitress was lovely, I didn’t catch her name but she studied media in Sunne. She was knowledgeable and we had pleasant small talk during dinner.

The starters were lovely but my pork cheek and pasta main was lukewarm close to cold while the other guests black squid risotto was piping hot. It seems mine was made earlier and left to the side while his was made. I didn’t complain as I was hungry.

The non alcoholic drink selection is great. I had 3 mock tails and they were all delicious. We were both driving so we didn’t try the alcoholic selection. Hence the reflection in price per person.

The lack of warm or varied deserts needs to be addressed. Ice cream based dessert listed twice, then a sorbet, crème brûlée (the most standard dessert offered in every Swedish restaurant- cold) and finally a piece of chocolate. Please consider adding a slice of cake or pie.

Fantastisk mat och jättebra vinpaket till. Serveringspersonal var fantastisk. Toppenkväll hade vi! Rekommenderar starkt!

Finally a good place in Karlstad! Vi bor i Spanien men är i Värmland på somrarna. Vi har tidigare varit lite ”sådär” med utbudet men äntligen ett ställe som har ambitioner och levererar både bra service och fantastisk mat! Vi är krögare själva och bockar ödmjukt för både service och mat! Råbiffen ett måste, Raviolin grym, En variant på Vongole som min fru älskade och mitt kött från Uriguay, wow. Tillredd till perfektion ”medium rare” ! Bra vinkällare med kunnig personal! Tack! Vi återkommer!

Finally a good place in Karlstad! We live in Spain but are in Värmland in the summers. We have previously been a bit "so-so" with the range, but finally a place that has ambitions and delivers both good service and fantastic food! We are restaurateurs ourselves and humbly tick for both service and food! The raw steak a must, Ravioli awesome, A variant of Vongole that my wife loved and my meat from Uriguay, wow. Prepared to perfection "medium rare"! Good wine cellar with knowledgeable staff! Thanks! We will return!

Väldigt fin miljö, och servicen var bra. Vi var ett sällskap på sex personer som allihop åt varierade för och varmrätter. Tyvärr blev vi väldigt besvikna på maten då den var väldigt smaklös. Kalven som flera av oss åt, var verkligen inte bra. Vi fick erbjudande om ny varmrätt av den trevliga servitören, men väntetiden var så lång, så vi valde att avstå. Vi fick även till oss vid betalningen, att köket inte kunde ta åt sig kritiken, då de ansåg att de inte gjort något fel.
Vinerna och det alkoholfria vi drack till maten var dock väldigt bra.

Very nice environment, and the service was good. We were a party of six people who all ate varied appetizers and main dishes. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food as it was very tasteless. The veal that several of us ate was really not good. We were offered a new main course by the nice waiter, but the waiting time was so long, so we chose not to. We also learned at the time of payment that the kitchen could not accept the criticism, as they considered that they had done nothing wrong.
However, the wines and non-alcoholic drinks we drank with the food were very good.

God mat. Serviceminded och trevlig personal. Fin restaurang med lagom låg musik så man kunde prata med varandra. Dock kunde de gärna haft fler vegorätter.

Good food. Service-minded and friendly staff. Nice restaurant with low enough music so you could talk to each other. However, they could have liked more vegetarian dishes.
