Wonderful to see art from a world class artist in such a small Swedish town. Really recommend the visit and take the time to consume the art and be in the moment.

Nice gallery. Indeed not completely worth the entrance fee but the current exhibition was nice. Restaurant also very special.

The food is really good, surprisingly good actually, and well worth a stop. Go for a starter and a main course is my recommendation. The exhibition is very much a hit or miss thing, this year, for me, it was a clear miss. I do find it expensive to have to pay for it when having food there, and they should consider allowing free entrance of you have lunch or dinner there.

We visited the place this afternoon.
For a start you are charged 80 kr just to enter a building where there are two expositions, one on the ground floor and another on the second where what you see can be of your liking or not.
In our case it was very disappointing.
On the ground floor some of the paintings or photographs or whatever they were, are literally invisible because they are black. Yes. Just a big black square. According to the lady at the entrance you have to put your hands around your eyes (as if you had hors blinkers) to see them. Seriously, it reminded me the tale "The Emperor´s New Clothes" ("Kejsarens nya kläder" H.C. Andersen). Absolutely ridiculous.
On the second floor we could "admire" aquarelles that according to the lady at the gate where almost as good as those of Lars Lerin  which for us, after watching them, amounts to say that Markoolio´s music is as good as Mozart´s. Sorry if you love Markoolio.
The prices, however, were typical of works by Mozart.
If you are not rich do not even think about stepping in such a place.
On top of that the food seemed to me very expensive and I am a chef myself.
Honestly. I cannot recommend it.

We went to see the art gallery. It was a very interesting and good display, there were several artists represented. They have a packet of information on the artists to know a bit more about them. Overall, a lot of space to look at the art, but not many pieces.
