The Gällnö Vandrarhem STF hostel/guesthouse is located on a small island located in the Swedish archipelago. Its about 1hr on the bus from Stockholm then a 5min ferry to reach the island. If you are looking for the true Swedish nature and scenery then this is the place.
The peace and quiet is heavenly.
Definitely visit here if you are in Sweden. All the staff at the hostel and cafe are really friendly and helpful. The accommodation is comfortable and relaxing. They gave me free breakfast which wasn't supposed to be apart of the booking. Thanks again for your hospitality and generosity.
Have the highest respect for the local people who live on the island permanently when walking around the island.
I will be definitely visiting here again soon.

Greatest place to stay in Sweden. Cabins are very cute.  There is a small store on-site whith all you need to live. Patrik is very kind and welcoming. We discovered a preserve island with a lot of deer, squirrels...

Cute and cozy little houses in a little forest. Even with a tiny kitchen, but the kitchen in the mainbuilding is far better equipped and can be used by all guests and the whole house is a nice place to stay. Showers are really good. The Vandrarhem and the whole island are a really lovely place to stay.

Great stay, very cute cabins with sauna, showers, shared kitchen, small store/cafe/restaurant on-site.
