I recently dined at SOI 29 in Malmö, and it was fantastic. The restaurant offers authentic Thai cuisine with vibrant flavors and perfectly balanced spices. Explosive and beautiful tastes. This place blew my mind as soon as the waitress came with the sashimi. With more and more dishes coming in, no food was less tasty than the other, even with the heat becoming more apparent. Staff was amazing, drinks were amazing, and the chefs even came to present their ideas. Definitely one of my best experiences in Sweden

Environment: Get ready to be blown away by it’s interior as it doesn’t boast anything but “sharing is caring” atmosphere. The high tables and chairs sends you back to a British pub taking out all the dullness and roughness - just style and vivacity. It’s also one of the hidden gems of Malmö. Their outdoor patio screams queer and it’s just exactly my cup of tea. Hashtag #PinkSoi29

Food and Drinks: Savour authentic dishes with hot and spicy tastes, as well as Gin and Tonics (and other drinks) popped with Asian flare that brings you back to Thailand. One thing is that, they should skip some of the obvious greens on the plate and replace it with something more exciting. You will find a touch of Swedish ingenuity with how they present the food, how the drinks are made, and the humility in servings. Pricier than most 4 starred restaurants I have given critics.

Service: You sense an aura of pride when the staff asks your drinks, serves your food and come back with a review on the food. Pro and still friendly at its base.

I really enjoyed the time there, we didn’t make an reservation until the day we were planning to visit and even tho restaurant was fully booked they were able to squeeze us into the booking. The staff was incredibly nice and prompt.
The food was authentic and drinks super delish!
Atmosphere was welcoming the only thing we weren’t super sure about was the choice of music, but peoples taste in music is super diverse so.

Had dinner there Saturday evening.  I don't know if it's because of earth hour, but the lighting was a bit too low, it made the place feel more like a nightclub than a restaurant.  That said, the food for the most part was good, except for the first meat dish, which was a bit tough.  Service was great, very attentive and quick.  They are also accommodating for allergies and other dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten free)
