We stayed at the peak of low season, normally the weather would be bad but we had a beautiful sunny weekend and the whole place to ourselves. The manager was incredibly friendly and put out an lovely breakfast both days we stayed even though we were the only ones there.

The region is beautiful, and there are many nearby hiking trails and a large lake for fishing and swimming just at the end of the road.
