Lovely hotel, we had an amazing stay. Nicely situated in the town Mora, which is on a good distance from the ferry in Gothenborg, so we stayed overnight to travel further North. Great rooms, with good beds and nice bathroom. Breakfast was crowded but we could still choose what we like with some Swedish additions. Didn't use the Spa, so we have to come back to check that out ;-)

In general, hard to connect to a 4 star hotel. There is no international TV program, the breakfast is cheap, no fresh juice, limited options. No coffee in the room, basically nothing, the bed is too high, not friendly to small kids.

Good location for seeing this part of the country. The hotel is right by the lake and the rail station, so easy to get to.
Spa seems closed for treatments, but the sauna and pool available.
Reasonable breakfast and evening meal. Lots of other choices in town if you want to venture out.
Staff very helpful with ideas of things to do.

This review is only based on my visit to the hotel with the intention of trying out their breakfast. So I can't speak for the rooms.

Me and my partner wanted to go out for breakfast on a Sunday. So we called the hotel the night before to make sure it was fine to show up. We got told that it was no problem at all and they were happy to serve us breakfast.

So we got in our car the next day and drove to Mora with empty stomachs. When we arrived at the hotel we got told that they could only serve guests that were staying at the hotel because it was very busy.

We felt very stupid for driving over half an hour just to be told we were not welcome, even when we had called to make sure of it the night before.

We ended up driving to Rättvik to Hotel Lerdalshöjden, who were happy to serve us breakfast without hesitation.

Not a four star hotel. Changed roomes due to poor cleaning and bad odur. Bad air circulation in room. Breakfast was limited and of medium quality.
