Lovely hotel in a great location,  just back from the promenade and close to some lovely bars and restaurants.
We had an apartment room which was perfect for the 3 of us. Room was nicely decorated,  comfortable and clean.
Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Rooftop bar was a great bonus for both breakfast and evening drinks with wonderful views of the castle. Unfortunately the staff in the bar and at breakfast weren't very friendly but we would definitely stay again. Hotel guests don't get priorty entry into the rooftop bar over external visitors so you may be forced to queue at busy times as its a popular bar at the weekend.

The desk staff were very helpful and speak good English and the views of the castle from the roof terrace are spectacular.

Honestly, for the ridiculous price they charge the place is poor. The room was quiet, but that was only because we were next to the cleaning cupboard and you could still hear the claustrophobically tiny lift when it got to your floor.

Also we were on the third floor, one down from the roof terrace and you knew when they closed because you could here them dragging chairs around the floor. At or past midnight.

We used to come here for the lovely open space on the roof terrace. It's now a public cafe bar that although it's not too bad during the week, when it's not closed for private parties, gets very busy at the weekend as it's open to the general public; and be warned, they really don't like you taking your own stuff to the roof even though they can't really stop you.

We also had problems with the beds. We had asked for a twin room but got a double with the excuse that they didn't have any left. Coincidentally, we heard another couple having the same frustrated conversation a couple of days later which makes you wonder if they have any at all.

The room service is patchy. Yes they do a good job when they clean but they also have a habit of ignoring the "please clean my room today" sign and forgetting completely.

The room itself was ok. But the bathroom door wasn't fitted properly so instead of sliding open and closed you had to put some effort into it and the handle on one side was coming off.

All in all a poor experience for well over €100 a night (and breakfast was €10 extra per person per day which at the room price is criminal).

It's just not worth it when there are so many better places around, quite a few at lower prices too.

Won't be going back.

It’s a cozy hotel with close proximity to Playa del Postiguet. The room that we have is spacious and clean with a good view of the basilica Santa Maria. The breakfast that comes with our booking is lovely and the view from the terrace makes it more beautiful.

I was very excited about the hotel. The location is perfect and the room is okay. The breakfast waitresses are amazingly nice and polite. Though The price-quality is not adequate according to our experience.
Unfortunately, we were not happy with how the reception personnel treated us. We enquired if they had some conditioner and they dismissed us rudely assuming we were requesting something crazy and ridiculous.
Moreover, I asked if they could order a taxi and waited in the waiting room (away from the front door). After 10 min I got up and went to see if the taxi had come and It had been waiting outside for 6 minutes. He had told the reception people but they never told me as they kept on chatting with each other, and I was charged 5 extra euros by the driver due to the waiting time. Finally, the cleaning personnel had left the dirty cleaning cloth in our room´s bathroom.

Excellent hotel at a quiet square of the old town of Alicante, only minutes away from both the beach and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a terrace for breakfast, with bar service and dinner in the evenings.
