Excellent authentic Galician food. An honest, down-to-earth approach: very good ingredients, very well prepared, efficient service with a smile but with no BS, very generous portions at a very reasonable price. The crowd reflects exactly that - a mix of locals, pilgrims, younger and older people, families. If you want to be pampered go somewhere else. I'll come here again in an eyeblink. The pulpo is phenomenal and I could order it even when it wasn't on the menu.  Gluten free options and surprisingly good awareness to dietary requirements.

The tapas are uninspiring. Overdone peppers, overcooked octopus, overcooked scallops, undercooked potatoes, disgusting croquetas that are almost cold, it could go on. Really there was nothing good or tasty here. The menu is a good value and pagine that is worthwhile. Overall, the food quality is just poor.

A well known restaurant for pilgrims and locals. I came for lunch and arrived 10 minutes before opening as it can get full quickly.

I'm impressed by the menu set offering.

When you visit this restaurant, prepare for a lot of food for little money, but with more quantity, you get less quality. I have been already about 5 times there and I was a little disappointed that they don't have the option ice cream as a desert. You only get a piece of supermarket cake with a fart of chocolate sauce, which is fine for the price, but I personally prefer quality over quantity plus a good price for value. The main courses are fine, but not spiced, the chips are not what you would expect chips or rather crisps to be and you basically always have the same side dish to your meat, usually lettuce and crips/chips. I would recommend the grilled chicken over the escalope/schnitzel (pork). For 13,50€ it's pretty much, but I'd rather dine in at the restaurant udon, since I've had a pretty good experience there, but that's I guess personal preference, and keep in mind every restaurant is special, maybe not always special at being good but special something 😉.

I suggest you to go to "Casa Manolo".
They have a pilgrim's menu for just 12,50€.
Quite affordable compared to other pilgrim's menus.
Delicious food and professional staff.
You have a wide choice of fish and meat.
But if you fancy something tasty ,
you should definitely go there! 😊
I went there twice in a few days.
