We dined here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 50th birthday. It wouldn’t surprise me if the chef earns a Michelin star in the near future despite being relatively newly established.
It was a wonderful experience. I’ve dined in a fair number of high end restaurants and have also worked in a number of them as well and Lur is equal on every level.
Our dietary choices were checked and catered for and we had almost a bespoke menu prepared for us.
We also went for wine pairing for each course. If you’ve never tried this before you definitely should, it adds a whole new dimension to your dining experience.
The food was exquisite, beautifully presented and the service was professional and discreet.
The processes to prepare each course must have been extensive so it’s a real delight to experience.
A couple of the courses weren’t quite for our palette (British) despite being adventurous in cuisine. That’s just how it goes and certainly isn’t a reflection on the over quality & experience.
Lovely people and a lovely evening. We didn’t take photos as we just enjoyed the evening.

It is worth reserving a table in advance. A restaurant for special events and for those who love exquisite dishes. English is spoken here. Friendly staff.

Fuimos por una ocasión especial y merece mucho la pena. Es un local grande pero sólo tiene 5 mesas, muy separadas entre si donde tienes tu espacio y una atención muy cuidada y atenta.

El menú degustación es con productos de temporada y cambia cada 2 o 3 meses. Son aproximadamente 8 platos.

Lo adaptan a alergias/embarazas sin problema y sin que se desvíe mucho del menú original.

No es barato pero por la atención y calidad de la comida merece mucho la pena.

Muy recomendable y sin duda volveremos.

We went for a special occasion and it was well worth it. It is a large place but it only has 5 tables, very far apart where you have your space and very careful and attentive service.

The tasting menu is with seasonal products and changes every 2 or 3 months. There are approximately 8 dishes.

They adapt it to allergies/pregnancies without a problem and without deviating much from the original menu.

It's not cheap but for the attention and quality of the food it's well worth it.

Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

No cumplió expectativas. Es un sitio con un gran recorrido ya que parte de un concepto diferente, pero hay muchos detalles a mejorar si quieren llegar a algo. Para empezar el servicio, muy lento, falta de explicación y errores a la hora de servir los platos en un restaurante de este nivel es imperdonable. La comida buena pero son platos muy justos para el precio que tienen, al final la cuenta sale a un precio desorbitado y te quedas con hambre. Se nota que hay intención pero como decia al principio, aun muchas cosas a mejorar.

Did not meet expectations. It is a site with a great journey since it is based on a different concept, but there are many details to improve if you want to achieve something. To begin with, the service, very slow, lack of explanation and errors when serving dishes in a restaurant of this level is unforgivable. The food is good but they are very fair dishes for the price, in the end the bill comes out to an exorbitant price and you are left hungry. You can see that there is intention but as I said at the beginning, there are still many things to improve.

Una propuesta gastronómica diferente e interesante en Legazpi, con un menú basado en la tierra y en los productos de calidad.
El menú es corto (6 pases) pero tiene la cantidad justa, no saliendo como una bola. Las preparaciones son elaboradas, pero todo gira en torno a la materia prima, sorpredentemente muy de cercanía (siendo todo producto madrileño o vasco); especialmente me encantaron las setas, la aleta de manta y la liebre royale (espectaculares los 3); asi como los vinos dulces de los postres.
Además, al menos en nuestro caso, los platos los explicaba la chef, lo que fue realmente interesante.
Por poner un pero, fueron algo inflexibles con la reserva, pero viendo lo pequeño que es el restaurante (tiene 4-5 mesas) tiene cierto sentido; aunque siendo justo, es una experiencia totalmente recomendable.

A different and interesting gastronomic proposal in Legazpi, with a menu based on the land and quality products.
The menu is short (6 dishes) but has the right amount, not coming out like a ball. The preparations are elaborate, but everything revolves around the raw material, surprisingly very local (all being products from Madrid or Basque); I especially loved the mushrooms, the manta fin and the royale hare (all 3 spectacular); as well as sweet dessert wines.
Also, at least in our case, the dishes were explained by the chef, which was really interesting.
To put a but, they were somewhat inflexible with the reservation, but seeing how small the restaurant is (it has 4-5 tables) it makes some sense; Although to be fair, it is a totally recommendable experience.
