El local es simplemente único. Techos abovedados, varios salones y una bodega preciosa repartida en varias zonas.
Dispone de una carta (Domingo) con Carpaccios de pescado entres otras cosas, todos platos fríos, segundos de pescado y carnes.
En mi caso quería algo caliente (Noviembre) de primero y como no tenían. El responsable lo solventó con una sopa con Wan Ton de cerdo y gambas.
En general muy bien aunque deberían de ofrecer plato caliente tipo "sopa o escudella" que si se que lo tienen en el menú entre semana pero cojea en carta.
Lo recomiendo a todo aquel que baje de la zona de la Cerdanya y quiera hacer una parada a medio camino.

The place is simply unique. Vaulted ceilings, several rooms and a beautiful cellar spread over several areas.
It has a menu (Sunday) with fish carpaccios among other things, all cold dishes, fish and meat seconds.
In my case I wanted something hot (November) first and since they didn't have it. The person in charge solved it with a soup with pork Wan Ton and shrimp.
In general very good although they should offer a hot dish type "soup or escudella" which I know they have on the menu during the week but it is lame on the menu.
I recommend it to anyone who comes down from the Cerdanya area and wants to make a stop halfway.

La comida exquisita y los platos muy bien presentados cuidando de cada detalle. El servio muy correcto y bueno. El ambiente muy íntimo y agradable. Volveré a ir seguro.

The food is exquisite and the dishes are very well presented, taking care of every detail. The service was very correct and good. The atmosphere is very intimate and pleasant. I will go again for sure.

El passat 14 de gener vam anar a dinar al El Celler de Ca la Quica a Puig-reig. El vam localitzar buscant a la guia Michelin 2023, un lloc per dinar que ens quedes a mig camí de tornada cap a casa, després d’haver passat un llarg cap de setmana per Cardona i Berga.

La ubicació en un antic celler, condiciona tant l’accés com la llum i la ventilació del restaurant. L’entrada no augura per res el que et trobaràs després. El menjador es reparteix en diferents sales de reduïdes dimensions i sorprèn que sigui tant fosc, excessivament fosc, sobre tot al arribar, acostumats a la claror del carrer. Una mica mes de llum seria d’agrair i de fet ens van portar una llum portàtil per sobre de la taula.

El que prometia ser un “fosc dinar” es va il·luminar de cop en el precís moment que vàrem començar a menjar. Un autèntic festival en el que vam gaudir molt de tots els plats. (Pernil de gla, calamarsets a la planxa amb cansalada de gla i pèsols picants, i costella glacejada, . . .)
Com després havíem de agafar el cotxe, no vam explorar el celler i vàrem seguir tot el dinar amb el mateix cava que ens van oferir d’entrada.

Menjar tradicional sense grans manipulacions amb productes excel·lents i tot això a un preu molt raonable.
Restaurant moooolt recomanable.

Last January 14 we went to lunch at El Celler de Ca la Quica in Puig-reig. We found it by looking in the Michelin 2023 guide, a place for lunch that stopped us half way back home, after spending a long weekend in Cardona and Berga.

The location in an old cellar determines both the access and the light and ventilation of the restaurant. The entrance does not foreshadow what you will find next. The dining room is divided into different small rooms and it is surprising that it is so dark, excessively dark, especially when you arrive, used to the brightness of the street. A little more light would be appreciated and in fact they brought us a portable light above the table.

What promised to be a "dark lunch" suddenly became bright at the exact moment we started eating. A real festival in which we really enjoyed all the dishes. (Acorn ham, grilled squid with acorn bacon and spicy peas, and frozen prime rib, . . .)
As we had to take the car afterwards, we did not explore the cellar and followed the whole lunch with the same cava that was offered to us at the entrance.

Traditional food without major manipulations with excellent products and all this at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommended restaurant.

Un singular restaurante en medio de Puig-Reig, con una cocina de gran calidad. Platos muy bien elaborados y con buenos ingredientes. Algo lentos para empezar el servicio, pero una vez arrancan, son diligentes. Tienen un buen pan, y una bodega con muchas opciones aptas para todos los gustos y bolsillos. El restaurante tiene lugares con encanto, e invita a una sobremesa con alguna de su selección de espirituosos.

A unique restaurant in the middle of Puig-Reig, with high quality cuisine. Very well prepared dishes with good ingredients. A little slow to start the service, but once they start, they are diligent. They have good bread, and a cellar with many options suitable for all tastes and budgets. The restaurant has charming places, and invites you to a table with one of its selection of spirits.

Pequeño pero gran restaurante, bonito, tranquilo, con rincones bodegueros preciosos, fantástico para ir en pareja a disfrutar de una gran cocina.
Todo lo hacen al momento, quizás por eso los platos no salen seguidos  pero no importa ya que lo bueno se hace esperar, precios acordes a la calidad y muy buen trato.
En temporada puedes degustar de las setas de proximidad.
Llamar antes para reservar.

Small but great restaurant, beautiful, quiet, with beautiful wine cellar corners, fantastic for going as a couple to enjoy great cuisine.
They make everything at the moment, perhaps that's why the dishes don't come out in a row but it doesn't matter since good things take a long time to come, prices in line with the quality and very good service.
In season you can taste local mushrooms.
