When I made the reservation, I wrote that I am pregnant and which kinds of foods are off limits for me for the safety of myself and my baby. I also wrote them an email on the side where I explained it in detail, where they confirmed they would change some courses in their tasting menu to adhere to my restrictions.
Once there, I confirmed with them before the meal that they were aware of my restrictions.
Starting off, instead of changing some dishes they just removed what I couldn’t eat, so I just got a less exciting version of my dinner party (it’s not that hard to switch out eel to something that would add a similar flavor profile to the dish for example).
Then they chose two serve me a fried zucchini flower with raw egg yolk and Gorgonzola (both off limits, both explicitly written in the email and reservation). My partner sent it back for me, and they were going to adapt it. Second one comes, and I get another raw egg yolk. I tell them I would rather skip the dish because at this point it was interrupting the flow for everyone else. What do they do? They force a third one on me, that we send back straight away.
The range of quality for one stars is way too wide. Atempo cannot even compare to Enigma for example, they are not even on the same planet. The servers were kind but limited by language, all of the servers were struggling with big and heavy trays and there was not a nice ambiance in the restaurant.
The wine pairing for my dinner guests was unacceptable; they poured glasses that barely had two sips in them (not worth it to pay €150 for barely any pairing, then share bottles if you can instead).
This place put the health of me and my baby in danger despite multiple confirmations that they would adapt to my dietary restrictions.

Atempo in Barcelona is a true gem. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with impeccable service and an inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in both the decor and the menu is outstanding.Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing a perfect blend of innovation and tradition. The flavors were exceptional, and the presentation was nothing short of artistic. The wine pairings enhanced the meal perfectly, making every bite a celebration of taste.The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience.

High quality service, amazing wine and food, high price but really worth it, I’ve had really good time here to celebrate my birthday.

This restaurant is extraordinary. I went with my family, and we had an unforgettable experience from the moment we walked in until the last bite of dessert. The journey begins as you walk through the corridor, with each step revealing a new course and a story beautifully narrated by the team. The standout starter was the breaded oyster with a mushroom and wine sauce—an explosion of flavors that is simply indescribable. Among the main courses, it's hard to choose between the goose and the shrimp; both were so delicious that we found ourselves speechless while eating. The grand finale was the unexpected and exceptional dessert: yoghurt foam with basil and mint sorbet, cucumber with lime, and bataks pepper meringue. It was a delightful surprise that perfectly capped off our meal. An incredible night filled with remarkable culinary delights, thanks to everyone who made this evening so memorable.

What an amazing experience. The food was so good, the staff was awesome. The chefs coming out and cooking tableside was so much fun. They loved talking about the food they made as much as we loved eating it. If you get the chance, you should definitely go here.
