Wouldn’t normally go all 5 stars, revelry been stung in Morocco with fake reviews but this place was awesome. Walked in late on a rainy Wednesday hunting any food with an early flight in the morning. The waiters gave excellent recommendations to compensate my non existent Spanish. The patatas bravas were lovely, great wine and a lovely tuna carpaccio plus marscapone mousse 🥰 saved to return to Barcelona. Didn’t have the steak but the meat in the fridge looked amazing.

Unfortunately, our experience in La Bonaigua was quite disappointing. The calamaris were chewy, not properly cooked in my experience. One of my oysters was crunchy, I think it had several grains of sand. The dish with aubergines and sardines wasn’t seasoned well, a bit of sourness, like lemon or vinegar, would have been great. We also ordered a salad with salmon and when the waiter brought it to the table it turned out to be some type of Russian salad  — definitely not so Mediterranean. Nowhere in the menu was written the ingredients of the dishes. Furthermore they did not have any menus in English, we were told to translate our menus with phones, which wouldn’t have been a problem if it wasn’t a fine dining restaurant.

This is an amazing family run restaurant. We visit every time we go to Sant Just. The menu of the day offers incredible value for money. The food is delicious from start to finish and the staff are very welcoming. You must visit and give your taste buds a treat! 😋

Very good place in Barcelona, try they speciality - rice. They have variations of rice menus. Wine card is just great
