This restaurant will change your perception of Peruvian cuisine. It is the best dining spot where you can feel the pride and dignity of the elderly staff in their service. Whenever I eat this kind of food, I feel a heartfelt gratitude toward the chef. Marry Christmas and happy new year to qapaq members!!!

Amazing Experience at Peru Restaurant!

The service at Peru Restaurant was nothing short of brilliant—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious, especially their ceviches, fried fish, and fresh oysters. Each dish was perfectly prepared, showcasing their well-deserved Michelin star. And don’t miss their Peruvian margaritas—they’re top-notch and a perfect complement to the meal. Highly recommended!

We were excited to celebrate New Year's Eve with a special dinner at Qapaq. While the food was undoubtedly exceptional, the service unfortunately fell short, significantly impacting our overall experience.

The waitstaff, though overwhelmed, lacked the warmth and attentiveness we expected. The atmosphere was surprisingly subdued for a New Year's Eve celebration, lacking the festive ambiance we had anticipated.

Finally, a small gesture of gratitude, like a simple "thank you," would have gone a long way after we left a 7 euro tip.

While we appreciate the culinary expertise, the service issues overshadowed the positive aspects of the evening.

Qapaq delivers some fantastic dishes, particularly the ceviche and Lima causa, which showcase the best of Peruvian cuisine. However, inconsistencies in the food and service leave room for improvement. It’s a place worth visiting for the highlights, but expectations should be tempered regarding overall execution.
The lomo saltado was above average, offering solid flavor but not particularly memorable. The slow-cooked lamb was a bit disappointing as it turned out too dry, missing the tenderness expected from such a dish. The Pisco Sour had potential, but the balance was off, with far too much alcohol overpowering the drink.

I would say in general the restaurant is overrated. We ordered 6 steps tasting menu. The entrantes were below average, however I like the main dishes and dessert. First came wonton con sopa de pescado. And I used the spoon to pick it, I realized my wonton was served broken! It was unbelievable. What kind of restaurant does that? Especially one that is on Michelin guide. The second entrante is the oyster. The sauce was weird, not combined with the oyster itself. The third entrante was octopus with avocado and black olive sauce. This one is total disaster. The sauce can’t blend in with the octopus, it was too strong. You can’t distinguish which one should be the main character in the dish, for a chef of fusion restaurant, this should be avoided. These three basically destroyed half of my excitement of having this tasting menu. The main dish, ceviche of tuna, pasta with seafood, and solomio, all of them are good, like something that you have in a creative restaurant. So to be honest I don’t recommend this restaurant, or trying the tasting menu. If you come just order from the main menu, that’s all.
