Exquisite cuisine with a great ambient.

Place: it is located in the old city of las palmas. Decorated in a colonial style with modern touches. It is cozy and warm. This place is always full so you need to book in advance.

Service: they are kind and fast enough. Always Keen to recommend the best items on the menu as well as out of the menu dishes. They could be a bit more attentive tho, things like refiling drinks, or offering more bread makes the difference.

Food: they started with homemade walnuts bread. Really soft and sweet inside but with a savoury crust. Some cold cuts, corn bread and tomate with oil. Everything was very tasty.
For mains we had.
Truffle gnochis: really delicious a must try.
Eggs and navajas(seafood): that was a surprise for a dish. Good combination with a running yolk inside the omelette and the seafood on top.
Ham croquettes: crunchy outside with a thin crust, creamy and plenty of ham inside.
Oxtail with sauce: tasty and tender, perfect
24 hours slow cooked pig: this is another must try. Crunchy outside and extremely tender inside.

Desserts
Toffee with vainilla and caramel: nice but  a bit too sweet
Cream of vanilla and berries: original taste a bit sweet and savoury.
Natillas: a nice and creamy traditional dessert.

This is a very recommended place in Las Palmas both for lunch or dinner.

Great restaurant and fab food the only hiccup was a rather stroppy waiter .. luckily the interaction was at the end of the meal . Great wine list and strongly recommend a visit .. The red tuna tartar with fried egg is an eye opener !! If you have room the cheese cake too .. it brings back memories of what these American specials were all about 😁

Very delicious food, porcions are perfect 👍The white asparagus with truffle were amazing 😍 the staff is super professional and nice,  really recommend this place 😍

We were a group of five with reservations. For starters, we ordered the asparagus, shrimp in a light red sauce, croquetas, and ensaladilla de atún. Each was beautifully presented, as if specially made for a photo shoot in Bon Appétit magazine, and deliciously dressed; the flavors melded well in the mouth. I cannot say which was my favorite as they were all fabulous. For my main dish, I decided on the Arroz Cremoso con Cigalas. I will say the flavor was wonderful. However, disappointingly, it was only rice in a brown sauce and two small, 5cm, crayfish tail slices. It was not a dish I would order again. Others at the table ordered the cochinillo, the steak tartar, and the roast beef, which by all accounts were marvelous. The head of the table chose a Ribera del Duero, which pleasantly complimented all the plates. For dessert, most of us had the vanilla pudding, which came with a spoon of vanilla ice cream. It was truly magnificent, with flavors of vanilla, and I believe cardamom; it was large enough for four people to fully enjoy.
